The elevator would be simpler if you juste trigger an observor block at eatch floor, and just move the elevator floor by floor

Since your base is so sterile and drab, could you make an area with the bees and pasture and flowers and trees, like an underground Eden, even maybe a lake or pond with fishies. . . .think that you need nature and mother Gaia to increase morale.

i think you can tell piston how many block it have to move. There is no reason to use clutches
