"My friends are fallen raindrops.
They sit on my windshield.
I never wipe them off,
I love to look at them too much
and I might just crash this car in doing so,
but at least I will be with them."
This literally took my breath away. Absolutely beautiful.
One time he read this and as soon as he said "falling raindrops" rain started falling from the fucking sky.
Just thought I'd share with the internet that this man is a magician.
I don’t doubt that. I’m hearing this poem and him for the first time right now. Magic indeed.
At me IT WAS RAINING and it went less heavier from a while till the moment I'm typing these :)

But listen, I used to think I was a cactus that didn't need water, or friends, or love,
But dammit I'm thirsty and my friends are falling raindrops"

Everytime I listen to this poem, I am grateful again.
I just came back to this after 3 years
I watched this poem for years. I get choked and teary eyed every time. If there was ever something that spoke so clearly to who I am and how I love ... this is it. It allows me to feel human not emotionally deformed. Lino thanks for these incredible words. Your art is doing numbers and embedding itself into souls ❤️

I've watched this so many time I literally have every word memorised
Do you still remember it?
Up until this moment I had never known about Lino or this poem. But in the midst of feeling immense pain and sadness pouring out of my chest and my stomach through gaping wounds caused by vicious words and cold eyes, by someone I love and I thought loved me.... I know this was the perfect moment to experience Lino for the first time.
3 minutes of gentle raw beauty was enough to make the pain worthwhile.
