Baby Wolf goes to Bite Child?

- This clip illustrates the difference between a dog and wolf. A wolf at an early age will still exert dominance over small humans. This 'natural' behaviour is evident in this clip which shows the familiar 'glint' in the wolf pup eyes which wolves get when wolves bite and attack from the rear. I've seen it in wolfdogs too. This natural wolf behaviour can be controlled and disciplined by the parent but a wolf will always have that 'predator switch' in their brain which can go off in the presence of small wriggly children. This is why most wolf sanctuaries WILL NOT allow contact with small children under the age of 16 and any adult humans that are short or have illnesses. Dogs do not do this behaviour as we have bred this out of them. If you would like to watch my full length episode on wolves and kids, it is here:
• ARE WOLFDOGS DANGEROUS...
Thankyou to Black Canadian Wolf for this clip. His channel is here:

His child is safe and this clip was filmed under controlled conditions with the parent ready to intervene. The wolf was a baby also..

The baby wolf is just playing with him like all puppies do! Puppies are playful. I don’t care how big they are, and they all nip and play because that is what they do!
Right! its really only young ppl who don't know basic things like these, and therefore the Internet becomes the misinformation capital of the world 🙄
Not a threat just playing like a puppy. It's only a baby himself or I think it maybe herself
Greetings from the sunny Costa Blanca Spain ❤❤
That is not what its doing she pulled her hand away. Yaw goofy

You are so irrelevant with nature, that you can't understand anything out of your pink cloud...
He is gorgeous. And just a playful pup. And the child shows no fright at all. ❤
Thats a big part of the success
The pup is playing but it’s already clear he KNOWS who’s in charge!
I’m so glad they are raising this child with these animals. The respect, love and obedience of both the pup and child is clear they are doing right by both!
Am I the only one seeing the kids start crying?
@@northerntoenope I saw too! She's clearly frightened!
I grew up with two wolf dogs and they were the best friends I ever had. I have a German Shepherd now and he reminds me of them.
me too. loyal, protective, loving. this is just a pup. sometimes they play a little rough--no matter what kind of breed. They all need to be worked with, trained.
you don't like how it is playing, pick up your child and take him home.
Your depiction of this baby wolf is unfair.
Exactly I rescued a wolf and wolf dog raised them with my kids I had a rescue and studied biology I never had an issue most of these people have no idea what they're talking about and are just going off of what they see on tv or what they hear from people that get wolf dogs as "status" Wolf dogs should only be had by people with common sense and knowledge of the wolf and it's behavior and even then some people are still questionable lol for those of us that know these spirits for what they truly are we are blessed and forever changed by them. I'm in the process of rescuing yet another precious spirit as we speak!
The parent or guardian is in that video with the wolf pup and the child. The wolf pup is just playing as dog pups do. I am sure that if the parent felt that their child was in jeopardy, they would leave. Like all babies, human or animal, they need to be trained and socialized. I do believe that the child and the wolf pup will grow up together, and each will be protective of the other. A good thing.❤
@@lydiagarcia2121I think you replied to wrong comment.
A Chihuahua could do the same thing. This is why you DO NOT leave small children alone with animals that may not be already familiar with them.
Agree but you can tell this young wolf is playing
A wolf can cause way more damage than a chihuahua
@@Reppintimefitness yes but in this case the young pup is playing I've rescued and raised wolves and wolf dogs along side of my 3kids yes they were always supervised and I never had any issues. This pup wasn't being aggressive this boy also if you take notice is using hand gestures and the pup is responding
Uh did you see the toddlers hands up? This is clearly someone's pet. He was never any threat. Look up wolf pups and this is how you'll see they play. My husky/wolf dog jumps on people to kiss them much worse lol.
The original video was filmed in Russia in St. Petersburg Northern Wolves Park, they also have a UA-cam channel Black Canadian wolf and Arctic Park. This little girl is growing up to be a true fearless wolf lord of the Park. The video shows a Yakut wolf named Oymyakona saved from death and the brave little daughter of the owner of the Park Andrei Musienko.
Q
I love wolf dogs! They’re amazingly beautiful and intelligent. So different in many ways from a dog but similar in other ways. I had one 15 years ago. He loved the snow better than anything else. He’d watch guests who arrived at our home by circling the perimeter of our yard. He wasn’t hyper like my boxer was and didn’t jump in people but he would play with the dog. I miss him. His name was Ruger.
👍
With the size of those paws at that small size, you know that's gonna be a really big wolf
Kid has a guardian angel now.
So many ppl are not going to realize your joking n think the pup is trying to hurt him. I hate ppl
Right? And in the process create fear mongering and more useless poaching of wolves. People suck...period. social media was the worst thing to happen to planet earth. We all were not meant to talk to eachother.
I had a wolf shepherd mix and he was a beautiful true friend.
I had a wolf/Malamute and he watch over the kids in the common play area. He would bring toys back to girl friend’s son.
The moms approved of him watch over the kids.
I know it's playful to the pup but the baby needs to be careful. The pup is cute. ❤❤
Two beautiful puppies playing ❤️❤️❤️🐺
the wolf puppy is only trying to play because the baby human is the same age nilly and if the wolf puppy ment to hurt the human baby it would of done more damage than what it was doing so please don't say that the wolf was trying to hurt this child and the child was not alone
Your wrong
Baby + Puppy = ❤ Forever
I think this child is more experienced than you think he has been in with the Wolves before people don't understand that a baby wolf he's not going to play like a puppy he's a wild animal but this smart child opens up his hand completely he doesn't put his fingers out this wolf puppy will not hurt him

Parents that just film a child and a young wolfdog in this scenario without intervention and instruction to both ARE dangerous!!
Gorgeous, Wolf, and it looks just like a Beautiful, German Shepherd, which is my [favorite] dog breed!😍🤗
I agree with what everybody else is saying this puppy is just Playing and the cub and the little girl should have never been left alone unless the cub was taught to be obedient and gentle with little children.
The child is not alone lol. The uploader was watching him.
They are so cute the wolf is playing
Uh…that’s play behavior. He’s not looking to hurt the kid.

He just wants to play 😘😂
He was doing well for 1 minute but then the Wolf just ate him, in his mind.
Unfassbar schöner Wolf Teenager
If it was trying to nip/bite the kid, it would have, people 🤣
It's clearly trying to get her to engage/chase/play.
Never let kids be alone with any dog

The wolf fur color is so beautiful
Irresponsible parents, when the puppy nips the child inadvertently these parents will raise hell and abandon the dog!
Judging by the actions; the wolf pup was trying to play with the child. She is probably their pet.
This pup is playing like any other puppy that doesn't know fingers aren't for biting. All of my GSD puppies did the exact same thing until they were trained not to nip and nibble bite. Puppies will be puppies. Wild animals will be wild. Common sense folks.
I would think the parent taking the video would have more common sense though!!
The child and the puppy are adorable though.❤️❤️❤️😽😽😽🥰🥰🥰
Once any canine knows Your Rules, they stop the snapping and play-biting if that's against Your Rules. This one is still learning them.
Looks like two babies playing.
Kid's spiritual pressure is too strong
WTF is that?
@@briankocheraabcdt4628 The bleach fandom explains it as spiritual energy. Other people can sense it and be unable to attack, like the dog
He is going bite playfully
That is beautiful almost like it's majestic
They'll be best friends for life
He wants to play only!! But there are very dangerous animals also wilddddd!!
Beautiful wolf pup ❤
How dare the parents let that child in harms way !😠
He’s OBVIOUSLY playing!!!
Dangerous yes
I think the wolf wants to play.
100%
He's playing she's in no harm you can tell
Love this!
That’s play, but probably still shouldn’t leave a human child with the pup, could get hurt accidentally
as i see it the baby wolf is just playing with the little baby boy
Ive yet to see most puppies of any sort not play like this pup.. kids pretty relaxed here
Why are the parents allowing this.
Very cute 😍🐾
😂😂😂OMG 😂 they is a puppy and he's playing how another little puppy 🐶 ❤❤❤LOVE ❤

Ese bebé será un líder!😊
This little wolf want to play !
The wolf, like any canine, was just playing. If canines want to seriously bite, they will bite.
It needs to be taught to be nice, just as any puppy should be. The tone of voice used might be enough, stern or encouraging.
He is playing his way. He is not aggressive.
The puppy is playing!!
If you don't correct even if playing has to be corrected any animal then yes it will be dangerous to kids and adults
We had one and he was definitely not safe with kids, even those up to 10-11 years old.
Never trusted him with them until he was geriatric at 17 years old.
Puppy teeth to sharp 🐕 though his bites aren't as big as the bark🐥🐤😮needs protective gloves 🧤🧤 while training in acquaintance 😅
Short answer yes they’re. They are only suitable for experienced handlers and require very early socialisation.
This vid might now make some people think wolves are killers won’t it?
Are u trying you imply that wolves aren’t ? I love animals and nature too but cmon man are u really that naive ? This is a baby animal with a baby human , cute but the reality is that should these two meet each other when they are mature and in the wild , under most circumstances the interaction would be very different, wolves are beautiful creatures and also extremely good killers both are true ,
Never heard of a wolf attacking & killing a human of any size. Heard of many humans killing wolves though 😡.
@@taniadurant9677 your clearly willfully ignorant buddy , go to google and type in wolf attacks in USA im sure the answer is not “ None , wolves are actually lovely doggies who rip deer apart in the woods on a regular basis but when they see a human they say ‘ leave em boys he’s a human we have a truce with them ‘ “ u dummy , your stupidity doesn’t help wolves it get people killed and makes people more afraid of these magnificent apex predators
@@JJ-fo5tnStatistically, in the United States there have only been 4 wolf attacks on humans in a 10 year period. Three of them were wolves with rabes. The fourth was a mother wolf defending her pups.
All I’m trying to say is don’t try an pet a wild wolf and don’t think having a wolf as a pet would be good just bc you see this video , respect nature
Y’all see the UFO in the background too? Crazy world we live in
Great parenting
Trop beau 😘♥️😀💜💛🧡💙💙🧡🧡
Like the little one has powers over them
Ya'll are silly. He's nipping at the kid, at times the ears go back, he's jumping back every single time because he's unsure and slightly nervous. This is not playing. I had a 110 pound Rottweiler and when she played she often had her mouth open, not nipping, excited not nervous demeanor, bowing not nervously hopping back when getting too close. The pup jumps even trying to smell the kid. Probably first time meeting a small person.
So cute 🥰
I was bit in the face by a Labrador family dog, had 46 stitches in my face. I was 4. So why hate wolves when it’s really aggressive dogs and coyotes hurting children?
I too was bit on the face by a collie. I was about the same age. It wasn't the dog's fault. I was told that Princess was away having her dinner and not to follow.
Ever the inquisitive got to find out on my own child, I found where Princess was eating even having been told not to.
I decided that I wanted a closer look as I was curious. I bent down and put my face right at the level of her food dish. Princess nipped me on the face barely missing my eye.
In less developing countries the mortality rate for male children is higher than females. If those young boys are anything like I was, I can understand why.
I came crying to my mom and was rushed to the emergency room to receive an equily painful rabes shot.
Dogs rarely bite "out of the blue". So, do tell. You said what the Labrador Retriever did, but what was your part in the incident?
@@briankocheraabcdt4628 well a dog should never grab a child in the face. Or anyone tbh. It wasn’t your fault.
The wolf wants to play with the child, its clear
I'm gonna go with YES. Apparently so...
Jugar..😂?
It's just a puppy & likely just playing... Gotta get it used to the baby while it's still a baby itself !
Are mosquitoes dangerous? What type of question is are wolf dogs dangerous to kids?
Last thing ill say. If this wolf wanted to,he could really bite and hurt this child. But its playing, and the child has obviously been taught to put their hands up, so the wolf can also get used to the smell of the child. The childs supervised, the wolf pup could bite at any time, but doesn't. His tails wagging, hes jumping up and down. I love Wolves. As long as they arent chasing your chickens .
OMG that's awesome, adorable
He just wants to play. He is trying to get her to play with him. They o are young and do not undetands how to play togetherly adorable!! But boh are tring to. I think her tears are a sign of at u fear. I think she will be back the next day trying to learn about her new "friend". Puppy will learn also. ❤❤
He's playing with the child NOT BITING
If something looks dangerous does not mean it is
The baby wolf is just playing it’s call play biting is all

Yeah, well. It’s a wolf and they are meant to bite things. You know, to eat.
