I'm a Turkish man and an ex kangal owner. My Sivas Kangal ( sivas is the birthplace of this breed) named Ayaz was a great example of the breed . If you want a Kangal you have to know that a kangal is the symbol of the independence, yes you can train them, give orders but they will do what they want to do. Obeidence is not from pros of the breed They are very very strong, brave and self confident. Finally as an ex kangal owner i can absolutely say that my rottweiler is the greatest gift to me in this world

@Ghost-xn9wg I've really REALLY been wanting one, but trying to think logical about getting a Rottweiler. And I believe I would prefer a male German Rottweiler because of their physique and stature. I've been around plenty of bullies, pitbulls, and all sorts of breeds of bulldogs and even mastiff, but only owned bullies and pits. I feel like I could definitely handle him, seeing as I'm in my 20s, blue collar, 6'6 and 285. I'm confident in my training ability, but I just have so much respect for the breed, and I haven't had a dog in a few years since I really got independent. Just butterflies hopefully

My sons good friend is a K9 cop. A few years ago, my son was allowed to adopt his Dutch Shepherd when the department retired him after 5 years. We were fortunate to know this dog since he was a puppy so the transition was easy. I've owned dozens of breeds in my life but Regal is by far the most loyal, playful, and intelligent dog that I have ever seen. Of course our local department did spend over $25k training him. His obedience is second to none. He's a hundred pound teddy bear with the bite force of a crocodile. Besides playing outside, his favorite pastime is cuddling with my daughter in law and watching tv on the bed. He doesn't like for you to block his TV and will let you quickly know to move your butt. What a character !

So we always have him on leash when walking him outside the fence. Heaven help the person who tries to jump the fence to get into our backyard. He guards everything. When he was a pup we had to break him from guarding the poo in the yard. The only thing he won't guard is anything our French mastiff chases. She likes to chase rabbits squirrels, snakes, opossums, raccoons and anyone that comes into the back yard. She is fearless, but totally non dog aggressive. But will get that way if she needs to. If a dog tries to dominate her she will put him/her in their place quick.

There's only few reasons I can think of about your Belgian Malinois being a challenge.
      1. Because he or she's around the wolf dog that doesn't listen or follow direction. They need a ton of exercise time, in fact I wouldn't have 1 unless I had 2 or another dog at least so they could keep each other going and get their needed time. Last if your not firm they'll take over, gotta be the boss! It's really funny because I had a wolf dog and Belgian ! Well, if that's how you put it, then what do you have to say about our dog, which was a German Shepherd and Basset Hound mix (mother was a Basset and the father was German Shepherd, looked sort of like a fat German Shepherd with short legs)? A bear got into our garbage and the dogs got out to chase him away. This one particular dog literally chased after it all the way down the hill and up half-way the opposing mountain/hill. If it wasn't for his short legs and getting tired (he was an old man too at that time), he would keep chasing the bear. Not making a hero out of him because it's clear that it wouldn't be much of a challenge for the bear to deal with him, but it truly showed the guts that he had. Not a Rottweiler, not a pitbull, not a Caucasian Shepherd, but he had the guts.

My German Shepherd Mix is the most sensitive, sweetest, almost 4year old I've ever met. He was a dumpster baby, left to die with his mom and siblings. All he wants to do is cuddle and nap with me on my days off. He has to be on a chain in the backyard since he will hop the fence. He lets the little girls hop it and play with him but they need to say his name and tell him they are coming and visiting. They are really good at it since he is very cute and theyt scream for him to come close for pets since the chain lets him get to the point he can rest on it with his front paws. Their dad didn't announce himself once and hopped the fence to get a ball they sent over. I had never been so scared in my life... I was listening to my audio book outside with my guy sun bathing on the deck. My dog took off after the dad as soon as he got in our yard, the dad yelped and hopped back over the fence. It is honestly amazing how that guard instinct triggers and they just see red. Since then the dad calls my dog and slowly gets into the yard with no more than a glance or a trot up for a pet. I've never trained him to do any of that and it is kind of crazy the amazing talent that he is wasting just being a normal house pet. When people knock on the doors he barks and finds me in the house and lays/sits on or near me guarding regardless on what floor I am on. It is "spooky" how smart man's best friend is. Regardless of what breed, size dog you have give them a kiss, rub, and treat this Halloween. My guy is a bit partial to bully rings!

This is so true. My GSD Jessica was so sweet and cuddly. She was smallish for a shepherd. Gorgeous girl. Never aggressive. She was curled up in the back of my car when a man reached into my window and tried to open my door. She flew at him from the back seat, out the window, knocked him to the ground, and stood on top of him teeth bared, growling, and barking in his face and at his neck. I think she was waiting for me to say yes or get him or give her some permission to bite him. She seemed to know not to bite unless I said so. She also seemed to know he was dangerous and to keep him pinned. All without any prior training in this area. She didn't bite but held him there until police arrived. When they got there, I said, okay, come. And she hopped down and came to my side. She stuck right by me on high alert untill he was arrested and removed from the scene. Her natural protective instincts just kicked in.

The Presa Canario would be the replacement. I do have a Boerboel and a Rottweiler and I do agree that they could be seriously deadly and I have had to do quite a bit of socialisation to ensure that outside training and guarding they are not unnecessarily aggressive . But for the Caucasian Shepherd you are spot on!!! Even after being socialised I have seen them go after strangers when their owners have forgotten to introduce them.. Great work as awlays!!

Kangals and our Malakli...749. They are all individual and all need to be trained and handled to their individual personalities. I think far too many people don’t even research the breed they’re getting, let alone how to train and handle their breed. Then they’re shocked and frustrated and even punish the dog for doing EXACTLY WHAT IT IS LITERALLY MADE TO DO. Mine grew so fast in the beginning he was tripping all over the place. His muscles and coordination couldn’t keep up with the growth at first. Now he’s great but can’t trust him around other dogs at all. He’s never the first to attack but his size and mannerisms are intimidating to other dogs and if he triggers any aggression at all in another dog it sets them off

I thought the same thing. To be honest as ferocious as the Rottweiler is, I don't think it belongs on this list. The Cane Corso should replace the Rottweiler. The Rottweiler will destroy a human but couldn't hold its own against wildlife. All the other breeds could. All of the other breeds have a PSI greater than that of a lion.

The first time I walked into a back yard of a rottweiler breeder, I got taken down and soaked in the slobber of 17 dogs. The Kangol is the toughest on the list of these big dogs. Bully kutta is right up there but who has them. Then comes the Akita. But the Kangol is the number one dog I dont want to see in a yard if I'm not supposed to be there. If you dont belong in that yard there is a serious possibility your not going to leave that yard with your life. No food in your hand will matter AT ALL!!!! Only reason I dont have one is that they are to load. Those and the Caucasians bark if the wind blows. My Caucasian was so load I had to sell him to a man living in the country. Neither is a city dog. The boerboel is much more quiet. If you need quiet but strong I recommend the boerboel. The Rottweiler is much more of a one man dog. They will bite just about anyone. Im talking about the German bred working rottweilers. The Caucasian is not as tough as the Kangol. But the Caucasian will bite the stranger more readily for sure. Kangol should be #1 on this list. Without question. 52 years working with all these dogs

Anneka hi. Greetings from Ireland. Love the channel.
We have had two generations of Caucasian Shepard. To family and anyone we give the OK to they are like giant teddy bears, constantly looking for a belly rub. they love kids and small animals. We have goats and ducks which they love to hang out with(guard).
Come near my fence, though, even i couldn't stop my well trained dog. they have an independent nature, which makes sense seeing as they were originally bred for living in remote fields as flock guardians. I'm always surprised how such a massive, mostly lazy dog, can turn into a ballistic missile. I've been knocked over in play before (im 100kg for reference), our fence takes a beating even when they see 'daddy' is home! i can only imagine what an angry encounter would be like.
As with any dog though, i firmly believe the owner accounts for 90% of the dogs temperament.
We also have a Slovensky Cuvac (slovak cuvac) which is another large guardian/watchdog breed, would love to see an episode on them!

I have 2 Boerboels.1 is just a year- the other 6months. My 1 year old is a male. He was a sweet puppy, easy to train but Extremely cautious. I worked with him since the day he was born. And I’m glad I put all that effort in. Once, he would let anyone pet him & go onto our property. At about 6 months old that all changed.Don’t come near the porch think you can come into our home & walk into the backyard. Yet, he can go into a dog park, go into a store interact with the outside world like any other breed. And if he gets to know u outside of our property, Then he will generally welcome you into our home/life. He’s always on alert, watching his pack at all times. If this breed is not trained, I can’t imagine the damage they would do. Untrained they would have to be put down. Our female isn’t as cautious. She’s more playful & not as stand offish. But I am prepared for her to turn out just like my male, because that’s the breed. I have never owned a dog that was this serious cautious stubborn & have such a strong instinct to guard & protect his pack.I have owned all kinds of guardian breeds & different types of Mastiffs, but this a whole other dog. With his family he is so sweet playful goofy & lovable.I will Never own another breed again.

His sheep was disappearing at a rapid pace and so were his dogs, which was stunning. He bought 3 Kangals and 3 Cane Corso's, raised them for 6 months at another farmland then after close to a year released them in the first farm. After 3 weeks, you could hear the dogs at night "fighting" something, and sounded huge. Almost every morning there was blood all over but the dogs seemed OK except for 2 Corso's. Lots of brown auburn fur which did not belong to the dogs. Did not know what it was exactly but the other farms got hit after his farm got "raided".

Caucasian Shepherd is a good and loyal pet, protective to family. I have a Rottie now, he is very rough but very loyal, loving and friendly to my friends and family.

My favourite breed is the Rottweiler, if you couldn’t tell by my profile picture 😂 but I’d love to own a kangle sometime in the future when I have a farm.

My big dog is a Pyrenees Kangal X and he's the sweetest dog, more of the Pyrenees traits I think, but very independent. I had never heard of Kangal before him. Big dogs rock ❤

Great video…. But you left out the Dogo Argentino. Also, I would put the Kangal as #1. There is a video of a Caucasian Shepard attacking a Kangal. The Kangal just stood there taking the bite waiting for his handler to give the command to engage. When the command was given, the Kangal with the strongest dog bite force, turned the fight around. The Caucasian Shepard submitted with his tail that was up when the Kangal didn’t engage yet, to his tail being turned down and tucked in.

    Rotties are adorable
And German shepherds are beautiful as well
All breeds of dogs can be deadly and scary
And if I had a Dutch shepherd I would name it squalo or clash

Your videos are certainly great. I also request you to have a look at few more ferocious breeds like Tibetan Mastiff, Dogo Argentino, Bully Kutta etc...

When I saw the Caucasian shepherd (her No 1) I first thought it was a Tibetan Mastiff! This breed should have made it to the top of her list. The strong strongest dog breed currently.

Dutch Shepherds and Belgian Malinois aka Fur Missiles. I took care of a Rottweiler named Bear for a bit while his owners looked for a place that would let them have him as they were renting. He was the sweetest dog ever. He would nudge you with his head when he wanted pets and was big on cuddles.

This is the best description of Belgians and dutchies I’ve seen so far. Their bites aren’t actually that powerful since they have typical collie type heads. They’re originally designed to move stubborn animals around so they aren’t built to have horrible bites because you don’t want your peskier sheep to die from a face bite. The most notable thing about them is they hit HARD. And they don’t slow down into a hit. They act like they have reinforced skulls or something lol

Let a Dutch Shepherd, or Belgian Malinois, go up against a huge, strong, and with a very-powerful-bite-force, German Shepherd!!!!! The German Shepherd, would ANNIHILATE, the skinny Belgian Malinois, and Dutch Shepherd!🏋💪
The German Shepherd, does NOT play games, and a LOT people are afraid of this breed! My FAVORITE breed.....the big, and powerful German Shepherd!!!!!😍

my dog was Half Mastiff and Half Rottweiler.. she was a very great protector.. her temperament was very calm and loving.. I believe it is all in the owner.. she was not aggressive at all.. but if she had to be she knew her boundaries.. I miss her she passed away 10 years ago.. My husband and I trained her ..we also had both parents.. the mother was full blooded Rott and the Father was full blooded Mastiff both had great temperaments..
