Amen. We give credit to God for these young people, He Speaks, for taking us again to an old well to get a fresh drink; a rare commodity these days. A traditional song, anonymous author, made popular and published conventionally among African American communities, the words captures and embodies confession, that of a 'weak' and 'wrong' child throwing himself unreservedly into the hands of a 'strong' and capable father. He acknowledges the feebleness and transience passing of this lifetime, when the clock will cease ticking in this life, there is only one hope: that of a closer walk with God. Thank you He Speaks again, and we are praying for each of you, that the powerful gospel in the lyrics of this song will be our daily, moment by moment confession and prayer- a closer walk with our God. We acknowledge our human inability to live righteously, but we also express awareness of the grace and strength that God gives us in our daily walk. Paul, a mighty warrior for God, acknowledged his need for this grace: "And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
