This looks soooo easy and then when I try it on my practice blanks, I quickly found that for some reason, my hand has an easier time gliding up and down versus right to left or left to right ... and getting the knack of HOW MUCH polish to put on the nail for the swirl is huge, too. I love your designs and tutorials. Thank you!
These are beautiful!! I love the last one!! I think this is something I can actually do. I have dark blue and silver I’m wanting to do that with. I’m gonna try it on a nail swatch first to see if it looks ok. Great video!!
That grey one is perfect 😍🙌 all of them
These designs are gorgeous.
Thanks for the simple to understand illustrations.
Just love to watch this video!! Got some good tips! 💞💅🏼
Wow! I didn't know it was so simple! Thank you for sharing! The designs are so pretty!
+loced4life thank you for watching. Drag marbling really is so simple with Gel polish, the only hard part is making sure you don't flood the cuticle on an actual nail. And there are so many different colour combinations and drag patterns to try.
GREAT JOB!! SUPER CUTE & EASY!! Thank You💅💅
these are all so stunning. the last variance you did is my absolute favorite!! tfs!!
+Ja'Net Wise thanks, that's one of my favourites too :)
Beautiful work! Thank you for sharing, Frances :)
thank you!!! these are all amazing!
I love these! So cool, I'm speachles 😍
So you have to apply the Gel thick to achieve the Marbling? Thank you!
Great tutorial for beginner! Thank you 😊
Awesome work. Love this video. You're a great teacher as well.
Thanks for watching 🙂
BEAUTIFUL! Thank you for showing us!
Thank you for watching
What gel polishes did you use? Love these looks ❤️❤️❤️
Me encantaron lo haces muy bien son fáciles de hacer
Beautiful nail art
This is absolutely beautiful. Thanks for sharing
Thank you :)
What type of gel polish and you just put top coat
Beautiful 👍💕
Love these. Thank you!
Thanks for watching 😊
gracias thankyou 👌🌈
Lovely, ty :)
Wow! Very good👏👏
If you were to be in a competition you would be first place 🥇 for sure!💅🏻💋
I put it on a mix pallet and since the gel polish has to be thicker to drag it perfectly up to my brush it didn't cured very well on my nail and I had to remove everything :(
meus parabéns pelo seu trabalho ficou muito lindo.
Thank you :)
so pretty😍😍😍
+sugar biscuts thank you 😙
Hope you get feeling better
Thanks for sharing but, when it comes to drag marbling...less is definately more. All those beautiful colors just got mixed away 😟.
+Filed Away Nails I completely agree. In fact I mentioned in the video to stop when you are happy. The only reason I continued is because this video was made to show people that had asked me how to recreate a few nails I had shared on Facebook, which involved extra strokes. But yes I much prefer the simple drag marbles with only a few strokes
Filed Away Nails she said multiple times you can stop at ANY point
+CaptainBlunt 😀
which brand of gel polish are you using??
Msbrowny05 Msbrowny05 it’s bluesky
I can't hardly hear what you are saying, maybe due to my phone, but I tried one like the first one purple and white, but mine did not work. When you are dragging yours is the white still wet when you add your purple. I used my own second color. Is there maybe a certain polish that needs to be used or what.
The audio may be bad on this video,it is quite old. With gel polish you can do it with the base colour wet or dry but you will get a different look. When I did it the white was wet and uncured. I think it may be time to do an updated version of this video. Are you using gel polish or regular polish
Does it have to be gel polish?
Hi! This nail art in very pretty! In just wondering where you get these nails?
I'm not sure where I bought this one but there are many places that sell them. I think if you search nail art display wheel you might find something similar in most places that sell nail art supplies.
What gel polish are you using? I saw the numbers, but I didn't know to what brand.
Oh wait.. I heard u said blue sky. And gellac.
90% of the time I am using bluesky as it makes up most of my collection. I used to occasionally use gellack but I don’t think I currently have any gellack polishes. I also may use akzentz gels when/if I do nails these days
fantastic
What kind/brand of gel are you using?
I think I was using bluesky gel polish
What's the difference between cured and uncured polish?
Cured polish is dry. U cured is still wet. Gel polish is uncured until set under uv light. The uv light cures the gel polish
Hi,
Are you using Gel polish ?
+Vanny L yes I am
I tried it but when I drag it just shows my natural nail please help
+Jodie Boyle I'm not sure what is going wrong. I will run through the steps and you can let me know if it helps.
Apply base coat, fully cure. Apply 1 coat of lightest colour/white, fully cure. If this first coat is very sheer, apply a second coat and fully cure. Apply a coat of same lightest colour/white, DO NOT CURE. Add colours of your choice in pattern of your choice, DO NOT CURE. Gently drag in pattern of your choice, fully cure. Add top coat, fully cure and done. :)
3 possibilities, probably a combination of all; 1. you are press down with your dotting tool too hard 2. your nailpolish is too pigmented and not diluted enough. 3. the layer you put on is too thin. you really need to put on quite a bit. Hope this helps!
Hello ~☺️ new subscriber here😊👍🏼 could you do a video on how to clean/remove the polish on practice nail stands (the ones with a clip on nails)?....I used 100% acetone, but it almost ate through the hard plastic of the practice nail stand display I got😅😭😭...loved the video! Very cool and groovy👍🏼😆😊💅🏻
If you are using regular nail polish, a non acetone nail polish remover will work. If you are using gel polish, the only way to get the polish off plastic tips is to file it off, anything strong enough to dissolve gel polish or even acrylic will also start to dissolve the plastic as well.
Frances Fawcett - Nail Artist ooh 😮😮😮 I see...makes sense, thank you so much for your help and reply 😊👍🏼 I truly appreciate it!~☺️ 👍🏼 I will have to get myself a non acetone remover 😅😊👍🏼thanks!👍🏼
The less, the better, the colours just got all mixed together by the time u finished the nail
How do u cure them
Under a UV light
cупер!!!
You mix so many times those colors and finally it doesn't have any sense.. The beautiful colors in the begging get lost
nice colors, but you went entirely to fast, so I couldn't keep up and got frustrated...slow down next time, we are beginners remember???
I disagree. I think they look good., With the exception of the one she said herself was wankie. And she said that she kept going after where she would have stopped to keep showing us what could be done.
@@latanyawilliams9672 what I do when I watch videos, if im following along. Is I watch a step and then pause. Then if I need to I rewind. It's nice and easy now that double tapping the screen rewinds 10 seconds now. Made it alot easier. I think it's hard for them to go to slow in these videos because people have short attention spans, and then people complain that videos are to long, . But either way. What I mentioned helps me, no matter what speed they go..
@@TotalDentalNerd Chile I made that comment over a year ago....I haven't done nails since then....I just go to the salon lol
its good but still needs improving

This video was just to show technique. I say in the video that you can stop at any point but you can also keep going.
You did a great nail then went to far.
I agree. I would have stopped. After only a few drags but this video was made to recreate a specific photo I had posted in a Facebook group. The rainbow colours especially look best with less drags otherwise the colours become muddy. I do think when the colours are more similar you can get away with doing more drags although personally I prefer less drags.
Ужас
like putting too much make up. the first result was actually better but she kept messing up.
Thanks for watching. I agree less is more and I personally prefer the first result but I was recreating a specific picture I had posted on Facebook. I was asked exactly how I achieved said photo and I made this video to show how I did it. Multiple times throughout the video I mention you can stop at any time, and I only continue so that I can show the steps I took to create the look I showed on Facebook.
Gosh stop already! It's soooooooooooooooooooo beautiful ghen you ruin it. 😢
+Joanna Leon yes there were many times I would have personally stopped but as these weren’t on actual nails and I was showing how to recreate a specific picture I had posted on Facebook that people had asked for, I continued. As I said in the video you can do as little or as many strokes as you like with any colour combinations.
Frances Fawcett - Nail Artist thank you so much for this...its the best and so simple... hope you see my comment
You’re very welcome 😃
Frances Fawcett - Nail Artist - To each its own!!! You cant please everyone! Some People like different. I cant stand looking like everyone else! I think you an excellent job! Thanks
That’s not marble, I think you should practice a little more
There’s more than one type of marble. This is drag marble. I have other videos on stone marble.
At first it looks great then you mix so much....ughhh it just doesnt stop 😡
Thanks for your comment. This video is super old so I understand the audio quality isn’t the best but if you listen to the video I mention several times I would stop after a few swipes but I continued only to show how a specific photo I had shared on a Facebook page was created.
don't get so worked up over a video, you don't need to follow her step by step..she repeatedly said you can stop at any time..
Awful
Horrible...
You seem like a very nice person.
@@FrancesFawcettNailArtist I usually love your work but not this...
It’s perfectly fine to not like something. But I do think there are nicer ways to express that opinion. Personally I don’t enjoy the final outcome of most of the nails in this video and would never wear them myself but this video was made to show how to recreate a specific photo at the request of multiple people. This video is quite old, so I know that the audio is not the best so you may have missed that at several points I state that I think the design looks better with less strokes/drags but I continue only to recreate the photo. I hold nothing against you for your opinion on these nails as I hold the same opinion but it could have been expressed a little nicer
which brand of gel polish are you using??
+Msbrowny05 Msbrowny05 I am using Bluesky Gel Polish.
