Rewatched your video and did the front pads and rotors yesterday! First side took a while, second side took two seconds lol. Couple questions. I cleaned and reused the hardware for the brake pads. I also greased the slider pins but looking back I'm not sure if I used enough grease. I've watched other vidoes where guys use a ton of grease on the slider pins. Question, if there is a problem with the old hardware and new pads, or if the slider pin isn't greased enough, will I know it? Will I hear something or will I see my rotors/brake get red hot like they are stuck on the rotor? Thanks.
Is the 2014 ES300H which is hybrid the same deal changing breaks? They have generative breaking. Just wondering if I can change them using the same way you teach.
Question.. I have a 2019 lexus es300h hybrid. Is there anything to worry about when replacing front brake pads? I heard about a sensor that might need replacement, and sometimes you get lights in the dashboard and you need a scan tool to reset them. So, what's the deal there?
Great video and explanation! First side was done in 20 minutes, second side was about half that!
Nice good job!
Good video. Btw, does the wear indicator have to go on the bottom of the brake pad (facing down) or can it be placed at the top?
Best is where it’s pulled when in reverse
Thx. Had a frozen rotor, exactly what I needed to hear.
Welcome!! Glad video is help
Thanks again brother. 💪 Bought this car yesterday and I’ll be doing the brakes whenever the parts arrive 🙏
Yup update me how the job went and make sure u pump the brake peddle before u start the engine once the job is completed

If the hardware is off u will hear noise but I think u will be okay with greasing shouldn’t effect much or cause anyharm

No I wouldn’t mess with it u will get pressure codes. Need scan tool
Car shakes high speed and steering wheel shake to. What do u think maybe the cause?
If it shakes when braking at high speed that’s rotors bent u need to replace brake pads and rotors start from from and if it needed do rear as well
Thank you man. Great explanations and to the point!
You're welcome!
