Seafood Producers Cooperative (SPC) is a fishermen-owned co-op based in Sitka, Alaska. As a fishermen-owned co-op, fishermen put great pride into their work. Quality starts with what fishermen do on their boats. Once the fish gets landed the only thing our processing plant crew can do is screw up that quality. Our unsung heroes in our Sitka plant put a tremendous amount of pride into ensuring you get great SPC quality every time. We have a very loyal crew led by Ruben Torres who started at the bottom on the slime line cutting heads and has worked his way up to Plant Manager. Ruben and his loyal crew embody our co-op's pride. Starting at 5am every day, Ruben gets his crew to work together like a family to ensure our customers get the best wild-caught seafood available.
