My 90's was spend listening to the Skoidats, Dropkick Murphy's, Ducky Boy's and so many others and going to shows at the Rckndy in Seattle every weekend. Such goodtimes.
In all seriousness, these guys are completely in a class of their own. There was never anything like it before, there will never be anything like it again. The fucking Skoidats are the absolutely perfect fucking skinhead band. All style, all class, ska and oi! put together like you can't believe. 20 years later, still a fucking classic.
Hell yeah. Justin Dillavou is currently active and doing more traditional Raggae. 'A Cure For What Ales You' definitely exposed Dillavou's talent even further and you could tell he not only enjoyed Oi but I always felt he probably had a hell of a Raggae record collection as well. I'm sure being present at practices and jam sessions would have been so sick to see.
Shit brings back memories... first heard this around 1999 when it came out....still a fucking oi!/ska classic after all these years!!! Skinheads... rude boys together!
@golyyyyyyy Are you near Krakow?? Lately, everyone I meet in Hamtramck, Michigan is from Krakow! Everyone tells me it's the place to visit when I get to Europe. :) I agree...Good Song!! On Saturday I will be jammin' Last Night and The Times when Detroit Beer Co. has their 7th Birthday! Rock On In Poland!!! :)
It's funny because Skins contains drugs, alcohol, sex and a lot of swearing, while in Holland in which you would expect to see drugs, we never really see drugs on tv and haven't got a similar series (unfortunately).
you can buy the album on the internet (or be a thief and look voor it illigaly with bittorrent or an other program but i am not suporting that way of getting a song)

They were a really good band but they sounded a lot like the Bosstones.
