Yep, I really like them. Find a day when the wind is up and you have shallow cover and give one a go. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks for checking out the video.
I haven't tried these yet, but I have bought some of the Grass Tracker baits from Bass Pro Shops. Similar bait, but I don't think it has the little dorsal fin like on the Hybrid Hunter. One of my best largemouth this year came on the Grass Tracker.
I’ve tried one of the grass trackers last year and the biggest difference you’ll notice right out of the box is that the HH has a very loud rattle. I don’t remember the grass tracker having a hard rattle. The grass tracker could be a solid choice if you are in clear water or have very spooky fish. There is also an old rapala bait with that L shaped bill that I’ve wanted to try out but haven’t yet. Thanks for checking out the video and reminding me of the grass tracker. I may need to give it another go.
Started out with an older 5:3:1 baitcaster, but have since backed down to a 4:7:1 ambassabeur. I prefer a lower gear for cranking. The only issue I have is if the fish makes a run at me. Catching back up can be a chore but I prefer the feel of the low gear.
For the footage in that trip I was. I’ve thrown both in fresh and salt. Using the original HHjr I’ve done ok in salt but the jr and full size original really shine in fresh water. I still have not caught anything on the shallow versions.
Yeah, that’s a good way to tell the difference. I still haven’t caught much on the shallows. These days I check to make sure there is no S before I tie on. Haha
That and the slight weight difference is what I believe makes the baits run differently. I’ve thrown the HH shallow several times and haven’t quite figured out why I should use it over the original versions. Thanks for checking out the video.
been wanting to try one of these guys out. Good to see someone is so enthused about them as much as you. That gives me a bit more confidence in them.

Thanks for the video
Glad you enjoyed it, I appreciate you checking it out. I still haven’t been able to get bit on the shallow
What’s your go to gear ratio for these

AMAZING video juice! 🤩
Thanks, thanks for watching!
Were you fishing salt water?

THE LIP ANGLE LOOKS A LIL DIFFERENT ON THEM....
Best I could tell from looking they were the same but I didn’t measure the angle, you could be right. I still have not done well with the shallow.
Has an S on the bottom!

Can’t hear you….
Thanks for checking out the video, I appreciate the feedback.
Line tie is in 2 different places
