Kennedy Jr. to the Socrates in the City stage with a standing ovation for a conversation on America. In keeping with the forum's history, Mr. Metaxas asks Mr. Kennedy the big questions, questions on "life, God, and other small topics". Conversation topics are wide-ranging and include everything from government corruption to drug addiction to RFK Jr.'s faith in God to the murder of his uncle and father, and include references to cultural figures such as Upton Sinclair, Carl Jung, Albert Camus, and... Anthony Fauci. The duo even discuss a recent dinner with RFK Jr., Hilary Clinton, and Mike Pompeo in attendance, the last of whom said something noteworthy to the guest.
This captivating exchange took place before a live audience in New York City in June 2024.

This is the first candidate of my lifetime that I’ve donated money toward. I genuinely feel like real change is on the horizon if we can get this man elected. Just the other day I went out and bought a cheap thermal printer and I use it to print out small RFK info booklets when I’m out, and I think everyone else should do their best to spread the word.

I wisely watched the Robert F Kennedy Jr version of the debate and Mr Kennedy easily out performed either of the two party candidates. He has my vote in 2024. Finally we have a candidate who is not a "lesser of two evils" choices . Mr. Kennedy is a true leader and most worthy of bringing pride and dignity back to our government.

My theory is partly because most people arent informed at all. They like Biden because they were told hes better than Trump and there has been a lot of fear mongering about Trump. Democrats are very manipulative because they know that emotion often weighs heavier on people than logic. They use the concept of morality and social issues to pull on the heart strings of people while behind the scenes they do nothing. The issues are a campaign slogan for them. They then throw crumbs at the people so that they think there is some sort of progress but never solve the real issues. They avoid any material problems to fix and instead focus on social issues for these reasons. They make people emotional and less logical and they are easier to give the illusion of progress. At the same time they utilize fear to make people think we are on the brink of Fascism without Dems saving the day. People fall for it. The reason people like Trump is because he bucks against this. He doesn't manipulate people by their emotions and says things that they are thinking even if distasteful. The parties are simply voting against the tactics of one another and not the policies or character of the candidate themselves. Americans are taught what to think, not how. They are easy to fool and too proud to admit when they are wrong. Emotions againn

I'm a supporter of RFK Jr. In random order, here's some of my reasons for supporting RFK Jr...
-genuinely wants to heal the 'culture war' divide in our country, and he has the ability to, being liked by many different 'types' of people from across the spectrum of issues and ideas, who are tired of the 2-party duopoly
-has integrity, has courage, truth seeker in general, thinks for himself (not a DNC/RNC puppet)
-incorruptible, cannot be bought or bullied
-thoughtful and introspective, deeply considers problems and possible solutions
-vocal about the corruption of 'Citizens United' and the power of the big private money controlling government
-vocal about putting an end to corporate capture over government (Pharma, banks, oil, big AG, military industrial complex)
-wants to get us out of 'forever wars' and to pull back on and expose the corruption within the military industrial complex
-wants to pull back NATO and resolve the Ukraine war via negotiations with Putin, rather than perpetuating the escalation (which could truly lead to the most dire outcome imaginable)
-wants to bring the military budget back to 'Eisenhower minimum' and to instead invest that money in making us strong at home and in correcting our outrageous debt and growing inflation
-dedicated to rebuilding the Middle Class in our country
-dedicated to creating our country as a moral exemplar and economic force in the world, rather than as a militaristic bully
-vocal about the dishonesty and agendas of commercial media
-wants to abolish all pharmaceutical advertisements on television (this has major influence on the 'news' narratives)
-wants to keep the pharmaceutical industry honest with safety testing, transparency, etc
-wants to get rid of government assist crony capitalism and subsidies for big ag, oil, etc
-advocate for civil liberties
-vocally against censorship (will pardon Snowden and Assange on 'day 1')
-against mandates and police state-like policies
-classical liberal sensibilities with respect of others (without the 'woke' or fake identity politics)
-vocal commitment to transparency regarding FBI, CIA, NSA over-stepping and out-stepping
-would put the federal budget on blockchain to be fully transparent for all citizens
-passionate about environmental and ecological concerns
-passionate about investing in regenerative farming practice
-passionate about cleaning our food supply and exposing the unhealthy ingredients in processed 'foods'
-wants to bring preventative health more into public discourse; nutrition, exercise, etc
-will immediately close the border (this is not some republican scare issue, it is a very major issue - for many reasons)
-will send the necessary Asylum Judges to the border to expedite the process for legal migrants
-has an excellent plan to make homes affordable for all, including a program that backs mortgages at 3% and a tax structure to keep Black Rock from continuing to buy everyone out (this also will bring rent costs down dramatically)
-due to his family/background, he's well-learned from the inside of the various power structures
-due to his decades as an attorney successfully taking on major corporations, as well as government regulatory corruption, he is exceptionally well-suited for taking on the myriad of corporate capture over our government
*I wrote the list above many months before Oct 7, 2023. I should add, especially directed towards my brothers and sisters of the populist 'left' and populist 'right', 'progressives', 'libertarians', and people who are just antiwar, in general...
-RFK Jr. is in support of Israel (as am I). However, this in no way means he isn't also in support of helping the innocent people within Gaza. RFK Jr. has always been very aware of the conditions for the people within Gaza, and is especially aware of, and feels deep heartache for, the Hell they are living in now. He is a person who, as President, would do all he could to help seek lasting peace and prosperity for all in the region

RFK Jr. would bring many ideas and a commitment to approaching the problem there from several different angles, and involving several other players. In fact, he would have been doing this before Oct. 7. (Simply yelling 'apartheid', 'genocide', etc is not in service of an actual solution - ask Hamas)
-and unlike anyone from the 2 major parties who supports Israel, RFK Jr. would never be lead by the corrupt (and disgusting) sheer financial interests of the Military Industrial Complex when it comes to any of America's foreign policy; including with Israel

@becca8822 I think this was a case of RFKJR’s trademark long winded storytelling. He gets cut off before bringing the point home. The stories about Carl Jung are not as off topic as they may seem. There is a good interview of Jung that you can find on UA-cam where he talks about his spiritual views. I think that RFK was just about to get to what Jung expresses in that interview. It’s to the point of him no longer having faith in God in the classic sense. It was not a leap he took anymore. Instead It was a deep internal knowing of God’s existence, an experiential type of knowing. He doesn’t have faith in god the way he doesn’t have faith in a flower or in the sky. Thats Jung’s take at least and it seemed like RFK thinks along the same lines. I’ve seen a lot of folks who have gone through recovery programs develop this perspective. Having been delivered from Hell, when there own strength and will got them nowhere, they have no choice other than to attribute their recovery to the work of a higher power. they had been fighting tooth and nail on their own with no avail. it was only after surrendering to something they may have not understood or even had faith in at first, they were just willing to do anything like
RFK says. Then miraculously they were rescued from deaths door. The former addict goes through one of the most dramatic transformations of character that a person can go through in life, and it’s often described as a rebirth. It’s the strength of this particular style of spiritual awakening that ends up removing the Faith element from the conversation. It’s not that faith is bad or that anyone should strive for this sort of near death experience type of relationship with God, but it’s just a little different from other types. You could call it a liberation from doubt i guess. All this to say that I don’t think he was trying to dodge the question, Like this comment, he likes to take the long way around when articulating his point. 😊
