  • Krasimir Kostadinov is undoubtedly one of the most accomplished and well traveled armwrestlers around. Lately though, he seems to have faced a few unfortunate losses. Is he maybe setting his sights too high?

I know Krasimir was an accomplished puller but I wasn't quite aware of all his many accolades. Of course, in the interest of time, I couldn't include every single one of his matches.
He quickly became one of my favorite pullers, so I'd love to hear your thoughts on Krasimir Kostadinov.

Krassy can be considered one of the goats. He was a pound for pound legend taking down all the super heavy weights in his prime. He is still a waf champ too.

Bulgaria, like some other small nations in Europe/Eurasia, has a rich history of training up Armwrestlers! Similarly, Krasi may often be the smaller athlete, but his bravery and strength is undeniable!

Krasimir is content with what he has accomplished which means he has reached his mental threshold to be better because when you make up you're mind like that it doesn't lead to any more peaks and PR's in competition.

There is no fall of Krasimir Kostadinov. It is just that 1) he competed for long time against super heavy weights; 2) the level of AW is significantly higher compared to what it used to be 10-15 years ago.

There is just no way to compete professionally after certain age in any sport without drug abuse... It's just the nature of our body. The biggest problem is really recovery. Without the body being able to recover fast and build muscle, it doesn't matter how hard you train. All the pros are juicing, and it's hard to blame them, they've invested so much effort to get there. Good for Krasi that he tries to stay clean and can take the loss. But arm wrestling also needs its icons, that can popularize the sport, it just can't work without drugs...

Krasimir Kostadinov never failed doping control in his entire career. Still has the same competition weight of 95 to 100kg. So you're just making things up without any facts whatsoever. Typical keyboard warrior. Has it ever occured to you that the man got older, got more wear and tear on his body and therfore his performance declined? Have you ever thought about that?
