A pattern I noticed is that A LOT of these matches involve one guy who dumps his wrist and one guy who doesn't have enough side pressure to transition to a press-the-presser. That toproll vs. flop press situation is just really hard to move at all once you get there
Yeah exactly. I don't remember how long it was. But that was the situation with Jerry's press against Michael's kingsmove in WAL. And to a lesser extent, Georgis toproll vs Jerrys flop in EvW.

These longggggggg battles hit my brain in a weird way, like i can feel those puller's fatigue and pain on theor behalf years after their match, with thanks of course to the one and only arm historian.

My personal favorite match is Kurdecha vs Ongarbaev. Some other cool matches were Marcio vs Toddzilla in WAL. Prudnik and Babaev had an incredible rivalry too. Many cool matches
