Honorable mention is the best pick. It's like earth, but it's also uniquely beautiful. Number 5 was also really good, I love the turquoise water and large amount of islands.
The nice light blue water and the amount of islands makes me remember the "Avatar: The Way of Water" movie. It's beautiful, calm and Earth-like. My vote goes to Planet 5
The problem is that, every planet in NMS surface is the same in all its extension. No diversity making it cloying to stay longer than a few minutes. Because he saw a piece of the planet, he saw everything! Different from the earth well diversified on its surface! It has a cold and hot temperate climate. areas of ice, desert, mountains, lakes, seas and forests all on one planet! When I find one like that, I'll give full marks! That's my opinion!
It's that way on land-locked planets, but on planets with water you can find differences in islands, seas, coasts, lakes, and how things are mixed and matched. You can also find unusually large caves, unusual collections of features, etc. Granted, it's not biomes, and I'm not sure why they haven't created multi-biome planets yet, but there may be reasons for it. You might be able to find that feature in one of the fantastic planet-generation mods that can make the planets look almost entirely different from stock.
That's something for NMS2. It's still impressive what they were able to pull off. Besides in real life, at least from what we can tell, we have Gas Giants, and all the other planets in our system have NO life visible. There isn't a moon here that's not just a rock. So NMS has many divergences from reality, not just lack of weather variation on individual worlds. Though I have been on planets were the general weather is freezing with rolling fire storms. That was odd.
If you're judging for Earth Like Planets, you're missing a very important metric. The Atmosphere. You want a Paradise Planet that has Oxygen and Nitrogen as the primary components. If you go back and look at the atmospheres these planets have you'll be disappointed that many of them are majority carbon monoxide or something like that. That was the case with all of the Earth Like Planets I found. The only actual "Earth Like" one I've found so far is in Hitonskyer Galaxy and has red grass with blue oceans and blue skies. It's 67% oxygen and 24% Nitrogen. Actual Earth is like 71% Nitrogen and 25% oxygen. So it's not perfect, but it's as close as I've found so far that actually matches Earth on that metric. Awesome game with a lot of depth. I didn't even figure out the whole Atmosphere thing until almost 600 hours in.
Great video got a really nice planet in Euclid green and blue trees ocean,🌊 beaches hills and mountains flying fish Two different species of Diplos really deep oceans beautiful rainbows🌈 no environmental hazards
Number 6 for you But number 5 for me. My gosh number 5 water is so turquoise and the trees feel like palm trees, the animals are mostly fish and the fact that it’s just a bunch of islands is actually a plus for me. It’s like a Bahamas planet!
On a similar note, my first planet (post spawn planet) in no man’s sky was a giant paradise planet that was very earthlike, followed by a single tidally locked dead moon. I legitimately thought no man’s sky had simulated our solar system as a starting planet (until I looked closer of course) it was extremely lucky
Planet 5 is really bad. Don't vote for it. Go somewhere else... CAN I HAVE PLANET 5 TO MYSELF PLEASE 😭 Honestly that one might be the most beautiful earth-like I've ever seen and I'm normally not a huge fan of those 🙃 amazing find!
This is my 3rd video of yours. I’m watching this morning, and I’m properly amped up for an NMS session I’m also thinking about getting my build skills tightened up and coming to join the colony!
I know it's too late but this is a nice planet called Vuitera in Eissentam. It's got rare flying fauna like butterflies, dragonflies and worms and some decent fish. But it's got a green sky and blue aquatic crystals. The portal coordinates are Diplo, Sunrise, Moon, Sunrise, Triforce, Y-shape, Starship, Face, Face, Hexagon, Spiral, Sunrise. Sorry that's my best way to describe the glyphs
@@nolopada its was for me something like, wait somehow this terrain looks familiar, and then i had your voice in my head talking about the first gek and knew where this seemed familiar :D
We got glass-like plants that have bulbus "leaves" here on earth you know ... its called spinach, Basil, Clover, Ivy, Dragon's Blood, Lamb's Ear & many more. So deducting a point for bulbus ground coverage is very un-earthlike.
Planets with sentinals, regardless if its high or low activity, should never compete in this type of competitions. It can never get such high scores when there are sentinals.. Period.
Different players value lack of sentinels differently. The score was merely a guide to sorting them as at the end of the day the vote is what chose the winner
Best way is to go to the planet with every glyph on it. You only need the first 2 glyphs and a glyph portal. Theres a video on it if you want the coordinates because I forgot them 😂. To find a Glyph Portal you can offer a relic to an Alien Monolith.
Best place to build is an alien earth, since the point is of the game is to explore and meet aliens (for me). I found a red planet, blue sky, red glowing grass, vast blue oceans and friendly wildlife
I found one closer to earth than these but it has a ring around it, it has good creature except the gigantic crabs but its legit and the colors are spot on and the flora is as good if not better than the best one here although one planet here shares a similar tree but i have like 3 other earth trees. And the rocks are great. Edit: theres no storms, the sentinels are friendly unless attacked, theres 6 legged tigers that will attack and one variaton has a horn but they are fast. Theres continents, oceans ,flat lands and mountainous areas and it . A negative is no moon and i dont think it matters but its not a "paradise" planet its tag is a "grassy" planet
Number 6 for me! They all looked amazing but definitely 6. I've been playing NMS since day 1 but keep coming off it for a while then back on. Any hints and tips to have the best experience? I'm more of a laid back player, an explorer 😂
Nms would be so fire with a handcrafted mainbplanet where everyone could make a base with portals linked to their other bases, would be so lit as an mmo with a place to congregate, so lame now
Man if planet 5 had actual continents and better animals it would've been a no brainer. However, I'm going to go with #6. If it was up to me maybe continue the search a little longer
@@nolopada I've been playing NMS since the release and I'm always amazed by the many brilliant planets - that's why I ask - e.g. 4 years ago I landed on this Paradise Planet and have hardly found a more chilly and calm planet since then - Portal Code: 315D07BA1ABB (convert it with nmsportals) -- but the planets in your video are really brilliant!!!
