- Today we take a look at 2 Police Constables who had a report of a Man Filming and Flying a Drone on an Industrial Estate in Deeside.
They ask about the Operators ID and the Weight but then make a few comments which riled the situation up a little so I have my turn.
Should we be able to pick fault with them, just like they do to us? Damn Right we should!

There is only one reason a police officer tries to hide their identity, it is for committing criminal acts and trying to avoid detection. Sadly it doesn't work.

You forgot no head wear ,can't stand up straight ,can't shave. I got stopped on a motor way with out of date mot ,a fair cop paid the fine ,but the copper who spoke to me looked like a tramp who was sleeping rough they have no standards, and no discipline what so ever,.
His hands are in his pockets because it's clearly cold. (DJ is wearing woollen gloves.) The policewoman is also rubbing her hands together to keep them warm. Wearing the standard issue police leather gloves could have been construed as intimidating. In fact, the police were very polite and professional.
He hasn't got a warrant card because he is not a sworn constable, he is an officer of the police force and does not have the power of arrest although they do all the time.
If you ever go to court and the arresting constable doesn't show their warrant card, the judge will know the arrest is unlawful and should tell the office off and discharge the charge, if he is straight that is.

Your problem should be with the Crown Prosecution Service which routinely decides not to authorise prosecutions of such cases, on the usually spurious grounds that the evidence is not enough for 'a reasonable prospect of a conviction'.

It boggles my mind that they can 'investigate' incidents of people photographing things but can't manage to attend burglaries or other offenses concerning members of the public.

A formal complaint needs to be made against that male police officer. With the events that happened in the Sarah Everard case to be walking around and approaching a member of the public with no epealettes and warrant card is just utterly unacceptable. The male police officer at first did not professionally conduct himself 👎. The female officer on the other hand did a much better job and she should be commended 👍. Police should learn how to talk to the public and de escalate things. Once again DJ showed he knows what he is doing.

That's exactly what it was, a veiled threat, and he made it because in this situation he was made to feel pretty powerless. He was dealing with someone who knew their rights and who was unmoved by the "power" of a Police uniform, so he felt the need to flex to get his sense of power back. It's a real shame that we have Officers like that who don't have the self awareness to resist the psychological effects of a uniform and a bit of authority.
