As I listen as a 56 year old, I'm as mesmerised by this track as when I first heard it as a 15 year old in the summer of '77. Truly a masterpiece that will stand the test of time for eternity...

    • @TheFrancescain

Oh my Gosh I though he was german, I didn't really realised that he was italian because usually italians deejays aren't so good , they don't have the international ability of mixing the songs , there are a very few percentage . Is not a criticism, is a cultural aspect : Italians tend to be conservative ... Anyway thanks God that Giorgio Moroder is an extraordinary exception ! Disco Perfection July 1977, Donna Summer, Giorgio Moroder, Pete Belotte. Feels like yesterday when I heard the first time. Everyone was blasting this in all the clubs, homes, Hi-Fi stereos. I can still see the speaker diaphragms popping in and out to the bass rhythm.

Never before a music have this so high frequency...in the bit...which today has dominate the techno. At the time the stereo effect was amazing, the electronic bits surrounding from one side to another ....that created shiver...this music exploded the disco music concept....it was so cool...only for cool people. The girls at time asked me crazy: What the hell is this fuck beauty sound??
