Enjoy the crowds, the cut-offs, drop-ins, having to avoid running over surfers, the worst plastic pollution in the world, insane motorbike/traffic/carbon monoxide, agro surfers. Vids are great, they tell me where not to go! BTW. I surfed Bali in 1981 empty. Like most of the surfing world, it has devolved from the sport of kings to the sport of kooks. Enjoy. And don't forget to post every wave, every surf spot & then wonder why it's crowded. Good luck!
Gotten a little cynical there Martin as the decades have rolled on? Did you happen to see my movie before you journey'd there in '81? As sad as conditions on Bali have devolved, it is still an eye opening experience for those who go there for the 1st time. No need to be so holier than tho and bitter...

honestly I don't like the crowd. it's bothering the kook's to much. we will see in the next few years
