I love Kaguya-sama, I read it before Oshi No Ko which I also love! I will say the first few volumes are a little rough but once you get attached, it’s so worth it. The main cast of characters play off each other so well. Our main couple is very endearing too. I’d probably recommend the anime first since it’s a really great adaptation. I voice acting is especially great in both the original japanese and english dub.

I haven't read Kaguya-sama: Love is War but I have seen the anime and it is incredible and hilarious so if the manga is anything like the anime then it is probably really good
I really like Kaguya sama anime, while I didn’t like Horimiya ( I have long list of criticism😅) Kaguya sama is good rom-com, more comedy, parody, gag than romance, no fan service stuff. I haven’t read the manga because I don’t know how the gag will fare without the brilliant voice acting and narration. But definitely this is one of the few recent seinen romance that I like, as a shoujosei romance fan.
Yesss I heard so many good things about the anime! I’ll have to try it out! I also heard quite abit of criticism on horimya, mainly how hori treated miyamura 😢
@@lyddiemoon yes please try out the anime too. I tried both anime and manga of Horimiya to get the whole picture but I still was disappointed with writing. To be fair, I am always comparing it with KareKano which is absolute favorite of mine, mc are similar but it goes so much deep into psychological issues. As for Horimiya, characters made less sense to me. Like why Hori was so sadistic towards miyamura, was it there just for gag purpose then not good at all. Side characters, they seemed to be written without any real thought behind.
