I gave her chance after chance. I let her stay with me. I took out a loan to send her to detox and she blew it within 24 hours. She stole things from my house and from my friends. She lied to me again and again. In the end, I had to face the fact that she didn't want my help. And I realised that I couldn't help her - she had to help herself.
@@davawilson5226 she is now. It took a stint in custody for 12 months and for her to lose pretty much everything, but eventually she did recover. She is now a Christian, a social worker, a wife and mother of 3 little girls & a little boy. So, her story is one of the happy ones.
This is why this chick played this song for me in 2007, now, as I read the lyrics, I know what she meant. I left her, now I feel bad. Yet, I'm glad I left that situation because she kept cheating on me. Thanks for the reminder
