- The plaintiff says the defendant lives in the apartment above her, and he’s a nightmare who fights with his girlfriend constantly. She’s had to call the police several times, and she’s suing him for laptop repairs and emotional distress. The defendant says the plaintiff is always making false complaints, so he’s countersuing for emotional distress.

One of the noise complaints was for a party which is a valid noise complaint. and if he's not doing anything that violates his parole then it shouldn't matter wether someone calls his po or not🤷🏽♀️ don't do things that could get yourself locked up. Or don't get caught. If he does get caught then that's on him

She went out of her way to get him locked up for years, not a night in jail. The PO even saw that it frivolous which is why nothing happened to him. She is a Karen!

I have written and posted a couple of posts in response to seeing your comments everywhere bashing the defendant in this video, b'cos I was intrigued as to why anyone would want to so, but I've sence found out that you are the actual female whom appeared with Him in court. And so with that said, I will like to ask, what was your motivation for doing what you did in regards to Him, by doing your level best to set Him up with His probation officer and subsequently sending Him to prison??? Are you a lot richer for it financially, Soulful, spiritually and life-wise... Has your life now become much more fulfilling with true contentment???
And I ask b'cos you said you've spent times with His little boy and the little boy loves you which a GREAT thing... And He also said They've invited you to eat and stuff which is also a wonderful thing, meaning there is some kind of connet of friendship and regard at some point, which means He has liked and respected you and if He never, He would have never left His Child alone with you for a moment let alone for a longer period for you to be a care giver to His little Boy.

I had a 2 year old and a newborn on the 3rd floor apartment. Thank goodness the lady on the 2nd floor under me had 2 boys around 6-8 years old…and then got a large dog before we moved 😩 I felt bad because my newborn had a cry that could be heard from the ground floor. Thankfully no one in my building complained even though they were probably happy when we moved.
My son was exactly like that but we lived in a house. My poor mom… 😭 She was the only one that could console her.

I don't have any children and live in an area where there aren't a lot of children - sometimes it's dead - so on the rare occasions I hear the crying, screaming and laughter of children it is like music to my heart. 👼💝 🎶

I HATE excessive noise. I live in a detached house and can't enjoy my deck anymore because of the neighbors blast music EVERY time they come outside, and the woman can't speak normally... she has to screech. Some noise is to be expected, but some people are just rude.
How will they really know unless you inform them of it?

I see people commenting that she should should buy a house. I say people should show some consideration for the people that live around them. Now while I don't agree with her calling this man's Po officer. I do believe what the lady was saying about the noise. Also, after a certain hour of the night, people don't want to hear all that rift raft especially when they have to get up early in the morning and go to work. I think We are living in times where you cant even ask people to keep the noise down because some will be ready to put their Dukes up and start fighting when they should have something about themselves as adults and have consideration for people that live around them.

This is what misery looks like. She was well spoken but her malicious intent was revealed. He came across as a very kind person, irrespective of his past/ present. He even presented evidence as a counter- claim to her accusations. Imagine if he went to school?
These comments are baffling to me. At the end of the day, if you live in an apartment you should have common courtesy for your neighbors. If you have kids don’t allow them to jump off of beds making a lot of noise, especially if you live above somebody. Nobody wants to hear banging, fighting and yelling all day. Some ppl have jobs and your home is supposed to be your safe place as well as comfortable. I see ppl on here blaming her for not living in a house. Everybody aren’t financially stable to live in a house. I live in an apartment so I understand her frustration. My neighbors are very rude and loud. I had a loud neighbor once that stayed on top of my apartment, it got real serious, we almost took each other out, it wss a celebration when they FINALLY moved. 10 years was long enough.

I get her pain 10,000% because we used to have the rudest neighbors. It was literally a small apartment where you can basically fit a tv and couch. They bought an entire family the kids would stomp as if it was a trampoline, and run through the apartment literally it would wake me up and my room would be shaking. Also they would fight and stomp it got overly annoying I took audio and reported to the office they agreed to tell them to calm down but they got louder then I tried reporting again at that rate everyone became a smart ass nobody cares if you have kids either you respect your neighbors or get your own house and make all the noise you want.
I agree with you. The judge failed to address the egregious noise that the defendant has been making. This was not a balanced and fair decision. I am very disappointed.

When I lived in an apartment with my young son I didn't allow him to run and jump during very early or late hours. He would sit and watch TV, or play with toys until a decent hour. You have to be considerate of others and train your kids to behave. Some parents let their kids act a fool because they don't want to be bothered. This lady was entitled to have respect during quiet hours. However, calling his PO was a bit much.
Unfortunately your sentiment is in the minority in the comments here. Most people here prefer the criminal problem-causer over the people just trying to get an education and have a nice life.

Omg I went through this for 7 years with a very noisey neighbor people like him is so inconsiderate. My mom raised 7 of us and we were not allowed to run around jump in the apartment. They definitely have a love hate relationship. This was one of the best plantiff and defendants that I've seen. They know not to go too far with each other.
I lived in a townhouse for a few years,new neighbors moved in and from midnight until about 4am all I heard was Extremely loud Heavy metal music every day for months Drove me completely nuts. Made me want to call the cops an smash their equipment

The funny part is that the plaintiff thought she was gonna win that case just because she's a straight A student 😂 and her kids in School as well. She tries talking intelligent until the end when she found out the defendant had a pic of her daughter smoking 🤭. I swear people be bugging and tryna put blame on you when they be on the wrong!!

At the same time, I believe this dude is mad noisy and he makes a lot of noise in his apartment. My mind is not going to change on that. I know what it’s like to live under noisy neighbors or people who just make noise for no damn reason and there aren’t any little children around. they don’t respect or noise ordinance law, but I’m used to living in complexes where after 11 PM you can’t be loud, so….
He gives scammer vibes and dealer vibes, but still likable... And they must be somewhat friendly if her they purchase weed from him, eat food at his apartment and he babysits his son from time to time... he probably gets carried away with being a nuisance and that's when she contacts the law

Some of these parents just won't do anything to stop the noise. I moved out of my place because of this same thing. I've even talked to the neighbor, they became even louder. It was a 2 month nightmare. I lived there 7 years. Best reason I bought a home. Finally peace
I agree I tried to be understanding with my neighbors but one Sunday morning their child was so loud running jumping bumping and stomping I couldn’t take it anymore
My neighbor upstairs had a 5 yr old fat stepson... that use to run back & forth all day & night. They were busy getting high then fall asleep while this kid footsteps would drive me crazy. I just prayed on it. I was so happy when they broke up & she left & took her fat son with her!!
When I lived in my apt, I minded my business. I didnt care who fought, kids running out and all the good weed I smelled. Mind your own people and stay in ur own lane 🥺

That's why I moved 9 yrs ago because of the neighbors over top of me (not children) but a grown man and his girlfriend jumping and falling on the floor and I had a 3 yr old who slept in the room and he kept crying. I went upstairs and knocked on the door and neither person would come to the door. I will never live in another apartment ever again! It was terrible!

Listen. I had an upstairs neighbor. It seemed like she was following me around everywhere I was, then started slamming and banging right above my head. I suffered alot living there. Now I'm an upstairs neighbor. I am very respectful. I don't stomp around, I hardly drop things on the floor. My autistic child runs, and when he starts running through my living room I tell him to go to his room. My downstairs neighbor expects 0 noise. She tried it, banging right under where I am, I act like she don't existed, then she gives up. Ma'am, you should be happy I am being respectful and mindful cause I could do you JUST like how my former neighbor did me. They was soooo loud. And I believe it was a intentional. This generation of people is FOOLS. They don't even know you and want to beef with you. They don't know peace, they ready to be mischievous and start stuff for NO REASON!!!! I pray for my neighbor s now instead of react and I have peace FOR ONCE in my home. Can't wait to get a house though STILL.

Interesting you say that. I had a neighbor who lived under me that seemed to follow me through different areas of the apartment. Constantly stomped & argued with her boyfriend at random times.

Omg I’m going through the same exact thing literally it’s HORRIFIC I even tried being quiet to see if I was goin crazy lol n it stopped soon as I get up to go to my kitchen she stomps slams and slams her door I acted like I left then she was super quiet just an evil old lady they built these apartments quick and cheap praying for everyone whoever had a horrible experience with noisy mean neighbors to be able to buy/rent single family homes once it disrupts your peace and sleep that’s it!! Inconsiderate is an understatement I felt everything you said lower apartment living ppl feel everything you stated!!!
So happy about this verdict!!!! Judge Mathis got this one right! She a damn nut, that the risk you take living in an APARTMENT. I recently moved out of my apartment due to issues like this, but I certainly would not call someone's probation officer about noise.

Being a property manager, we NEVER place tenants with kids on any of the top floors in order to avoid this situation right here. I am an empath and I can not deal with loud noises and such. Some people just do 💩 out of spite though

Some do 💩 just because they feel like they pay rent, therefore they can do wtf they want to do. ***Not on my watch***I have to give them THREE times to be wrote up and it's a wrap. Then they wanna act right
@annette key I can feel you on that. Those walls are paper thin, sheetrock, so you can hear and smell EVERYTHING!! I try to place people in certain apartments that I know if they like music or have kids, etc next to people who don't have a problem with those things. I ask on the application and if they lie to me about something that simple, thinking it will get them in there, it's a bad look. I rarely have ANY problems doing it that way. ***I'm an empath and can read folks very well***
Our property manager places kids on the top floor. They don't care. They get so many complaints about it
