Thank you to the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation, the incredible crew and pilot for this amazing flight opportunity. You can click on the website link: www.armyav.org/
That was pretty cool for that fella. Chance in a life time congratulation to him. I got my ride over 30 years ago when I served as a air crewman for those cobras
I was the fella that got a flight in this incredible Cobra, awesome that you also go a flight in one 👍😎Thank you for your service Roger👍😎
I Was In Armament We Serviced the M-134 Mini Gun . 40 mm Grenade launcher . 2.75 Rocket Pods .
one of if not the best looking cobra variant, nice flight
I agree with you, thank you very much for watching & I love the F-15 Eagle 👍😎
I served in the 82nd Airborne Combat Aviation Battalion. I worked on Cobra helicopters weapons systems. Guns, turret , TSU, rockets, tow and hell fire missiles. Thanks to all my brothers that served. God bless.. Was the best three years of my life. I even played in a band off post on weekends..On day we were target sighting that gun in the hanger. Some dumb ass walked in front of the cockpit beyond the roped off area. The guy in the cockpit looked up. the gun switched from TSU to helmet control. The gun swung around and broke the guys legs. threw him 30Ft. I had a few flights in it. So cool. And going to the range . Nice flight..
Thank you very much Ken for your service. WOW! that's crazy. Thank you for watching.
Now that was cool! That must have been an epic experience to fly in this amazing helicopter. Awesome video!
Thank you very much, yes it was one of those Epic Experiences & possibly a once in a lifetime experience for me to fly in this incredible Helicopter.
Awsome video. My wife and i just flew in the cobra today and we both really enjoyed it. It looked like we had the same guy buckle us in.
Top notch crew running those heli rides
So sorry Rod that I'm just now getting back with you, I don't get all of my comments for some reason. That's so cool that your wife and you flew in the Cobra. Thank you for watching and sharing that you flew in it also :)
Just awesome Ed.....What an experience for you.....Nice Filming...Cheers...Steve.-:)

This is insane Ed! Sooo lucky :)
WOW! I'm so sorry Elliot, I don't get all of my comments for some reason and just saw that you wrote. Thanks so much ya I was very lucky to have flown in the Cobra and I also flew in another Cobra. Take care and thank you for watching and your comment :)
Awesome opportunity to be able to ride in a cobra!!
Yes, I felt very honored to have flown in such an amazing helicopter. Thank you so much for watching :)
I like the ah-1f in particular Idk it just looks good
I have to agree with you, thank you for watching 👍😎
Definitely gonna have to ride in one of these sometime
@@Marder1A1 You would love it I've flown in two different ones.
As a 67y cobra mech. We would fly in them to do certain maintenance procedures. ( Track and balance the rotary hub and blades for example)
Best flying you could do in front seat ! At the time.
@@rustybaldwin4851 Ya, I bet that was a lot of fun for you, thank you for your comment & for watching. Also Thank you for your service Rusty👍😎👍😎
Also a Cobra Crew Chief here. I saw the name Rusty and had to see if by chance you were stationed at Ft. Ord back in the 1980's ? Had a fellow Air Cav trooper named Rusty who was a 67Y same time I was there. I remember we once had to go out to Ft. Hunter Liggett to guard a Cobra overnight after one of our pilots had a blade strike flying NOE. I'm getting so old I cant remember last names but I was thinking the Rusty I was stationed at Ord with was from Arkansas. I know he was a country boy for sure. Anyway, good to hear that some of us are still out there...alive and kicking.
And doing the track and balance with the Vibrex was the quickest route to a front seat ride...that's for sure! I remember one of my instructors in AIT at Eustis told me to learn it if I wanted to ever fly in one. Oddly enough I wound up back at Eustis as an instructor after a tour in Korea. Ended up getting out in 92' after Desert Storm blew over.
Good times on the flight lines.
@@ColdWarAviator I was a 68B (aircraft engine repairer) stationed at Ft Ord '91-'93. I was one of 2 eng mechs assigned to D Co 1/123 Avn Rgt. to maintain a fleet of 26 birds. We shared a corner office with 2 hub and rotor guys. We've marched a lot of the same ground. :)
Another outstanding in-flight! Liked!!
Thank you so much.
Amazing how many flights you have taken:) Glad you are sharing them!
Yes I've been very lucky & feel very blessed to have flown in all these amazing aircraft and I enjoy sharing them and thank you for all of your amazing videos as well. I hope you have a great week.
Must have been an awesome experience
Yes it was incredibly awesome to fly in this amazing helicopter, I've been lucky to have flown in two of these. Thank you for watching 👍😎🚁
Nice flight ! If it isn't a rude question, what is the price range for flights on the Huey, Cobra etc ? I'm guessing the Cobra is quite a bit more than the Huey because it only takes a single passenger. I looked on their website but it only states "Amount will vary per show/location." Thanks.
First of all thank you for watching and not rude at all for asking the prices. They usually cost $75.00 for the Huey Flight and $325.00 for the Cobra Flight. I hope this helps :)
i literally just bought this on war thunder so good for taking out tanks with the 20 mm
Very cool have fun 😎👍
Thanks Guy🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁
Your welcome & thank you Karen 😎👍
AH-1, the real deal. All I can say.
I agree with you. It is the real deal. Thanks so much for watching.
that looks allot like the hellicopter they used in blue thunder movie
Yes pretty similar ? but totally different before being modified from a Aérospatiale Gazelle helicopter. Thank you for watching :)
I love your videos, and now I am genuinely jealous.
Thank you very much for your comment, I apologize for making you jealous.
super Cobra not a Bell
DENZEL man, who do you think makes the super cobra? BELL!
And Denzel thank you for watching. This is the Single engine Bell AH-1 Cobra, the Bell AH-1 SuperCobra is a twin-engine. Take care.
Ed you are cool!!! Lucky dog! How small is that cockpit?
I've been very lucky, I've flown in two Cobras. The cockpit is actualy pretty good with comfortable space. Thank you very much for checking it out 👍😎

incorrect sound during startup/
Sorry Rick that's how my inexpensive camera recorded it. Another Cobra , two Hueys and music was in the background. Thank you for watching.
Should u not eat before u fly in this? Motion sickness like a boat?
Great question, I'm lucky and have never had a problem so if your unsure go with your gut feeling. Thank you for watching :)

Go MARINES AH1Z DOUBLE BAD MOTHER
Awesome and thank you for your service 😎👍
Ed you going to Dayton?
No I didn't go to Dayton, My wife and I went on July 28, 2007 for the show and that was the day that Jim LeRoy died upon impact in a crash, that was a tragic day to witness that in person was horrible, I still think and still pray for his family. Did you go this year?
I did not I have a little one to care for and the timing wasn't right plus I couldn't see her sitting still :). However, I was very disappointed that R&R was cancelled this year. Not sure what kind of shitty ass excuse of "a date confliction" is that they gave.
OK! maybe next year, take care of your little one first and enjoy, they sure grow up fast
You probably need finger cameras
That's a good idea, thank you for watching :)
How did you get to fly in it?
I was able to donate money and fly in it, I flew in a Cobra twice, here is my other Flight in one ua-cam.com/video/eTauHHi_VcE/v-deo.html

All my Cobra time was working G and Mod S round canopy Snakes. 75 to 78. Air Cav!!!
Who downvotes this? Why?
I always wonder why, I watch a lot of videos and enjoy them all no matter how good or bad I never thumbs-down. Thank you for your comment :)
@@EdWhisenantAviation The only reason to downvote something is if its something offensive to your sensibility's often political or possibly religious. But this is neither. It is a machine (a wonderful one at that) doing its thing. I came across it because i love helicopters and rotary aviation. If you don't then why are you watching it? Its just not something that should be down voted?
@@adznz11 So true, thanks so much for your comment and like you say why are you watching it. LOL
*plays fortanute son*
Thanks for watching :)
