Your babies are so industrious. You are giving them a huge gift by teaching them them that work is part of life and does not have to feel like a huge pain if you do it with joy. Most kids now are lazy and go around saying how bored they are because they don't have to do anything.
So True!! And I look back on how I raised my own, too many mistakes and times when I was overwhelmed by tasks at hand and not joyful and enjoying the moment and hurrying and not allowing the children to help. It must be the Lord who made up for my mistakes. Love watching this family.

I surely know what you mean as a working single parent. But I believe God gives us infinite grace & forgiveness, when we try to do our best with what we have. I've come full circle, with happy healthy grandchildren now.
I'm so appreciative 💗 at how my two sons grew up, & they've even surpassed my efforts & aspirations for them.
What surprise & gratitude when each of my daughters-in-law personally thanked me for my work in raising both my sons. I was sure to let them know I could do nothing without God's help & guidance.

After struggling for years with the old style tree stand I switched over to the exact stand your using. What a great stand! Literally took 30seconds to stand our 9’ tree up, with no tip overs.

Reminds me of when my family lived in a two story log house back in the 70's. We had 14 ft. trees every year. Had to get on the balcony to decorate the top part. I`m 77 now. Kids are all gone and scattered. Sure miss Christmas.

Our hearts always wants a 20 foot tree we ended up with a 12 foot tree we didn’t think was big enough until we got into the house then everyone’s face lit up just like at your place.
