The musicians dish on the fun they had covering the great old American songs they grew up loving, and how they recorded the entire album live in studio with a full band! Sir Rod Stewart also reflects on finding his voice by listening to artists like Sam Cooke, and shares how he was first discovered busking in a train station.

I love the way Rod dresses! He is still rocking the pink like he did on his greatest hits album from the 70’s in that silky pink shirt. It’s a WOW color for him. The silver metal also looks great on him. 🩷🩶

I've been in love with Rod since 1976! While I've given up on the possibility of marrying him (😂😂), I did use his track, Have I Told You Lately That I Love You, for my wedding dance. And though that love died, my love for Sir Rod hasn't changed 🥰❤️ He could sing Row Row Row Your Boat and I'd swoon with dreamy eyes ❤🥰

I saw Ed Sheeran in Leeds before anyone knew who he was and there were more people behind the bar than came to see him..Then saw him years later in Leeds Arena with thousands more. Saw and reviewed Adele for Just Soul in York & paid £8.00 a ticket and she went on to play Vegas. They said why are you reviewing this 'Adele' & I said because she will be huge. Jools Holland champions new, renowned & unheard music. I often go to see at the Barbican York UK. Rod Stewart is a legend. Assembly Point live (Matt Dunwell) Leeds does the same, championing new artists as well as doing great music himself 💙🎙🎵🎧🎼🎤💥💙🤜🤛💙 Love music.

Wow, good memories! I used to watch Jools Holland on TV, when I lived in London in 1998/99. I'm actually from Brazil, and live here now!
Long John Baldry a legend in his own right for his music, finding Sir Rod and Elton John and voicing Dr Robotnik from Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog.
Besides their common interest in music, Rod and Jools both have great senses of humor and both are into model railroading.

This swing album is absolutely superb. Obviously, Rod Stewart can light up any song he sings. Jools Holland is a virtuoso with a big band behind him that make a lot of (good) noise! Actually, Brian Setzer is similar with his big band. I actually only have one question - when is volume 2 coming out?

There is a movie, called, SongCatcher, one of my favorites, 2000 drama film directed by Maggie Greenwald. Great old American songs.
