It's important to know why they are doing it though. They are doing it cause taxes on realized gains are extremely high for the amount of risk associated.

It's partially true.. now the REPO rates have increased from 6.8 to 8.6%
So technically you are spending more to government treasury
After paying X Lakhs in direct income tax, my attitude towards concept of income tax and tax evaders is little bit different now.
Everyone says People "owe" tax to the Govt as if Govt gave as loan.
Do we Indian people "owe" anything to Indian Govt?
If we consider tax as patriotic duty, is it worth to loose 30% of your money before it reaches you? What about all the GST taxes that every Indian pay regardless of their income. What did govt do with that?
Govt - includes all the state, union govts irrespective of political party.
Really we don't get good service for the money we pay as tax

Just download the annual budget from your municipalities' sites and see what happens with them. Also, download the plan of the city if available. You will be amazed how much corrupted our local govts are.
