Your full videos are never boring to me, even if you think they are. When I see you have posted a full video, I make a meal, get coffee, and settle in for an enjoyable treat from you. Listening to your interactions with each other, listening to ATC, and watching the views out the window (even if it’s just the clouds) is better than anything on the TV. I’m retired from airline work so watching your videos allows me to relive those days through your work. Very often, I’ll fire up my FSX simulator and try to fly the same routes you did. Keep up the great work; you make a difference for this old retired guy 😊❤️✈️
Shaun, you are important to us, y'all may not agree but you have become popular entertainers. With all the other crap going on, y'all are a breath of fresh air. Bells and whistles go off when ever some of your new content pops up and it is immediately watched in this household, Thank you sir!
donald smith agreed, this was a side of Jon I always suspected but never saw before. I'm gonna offer Jon some marriage counselling - trust me, I've been divorced twice, seen and heard it all!
Always wanted to become a commercial pilot but do to costs and time I’m currently in A&P school. As an aviation fanatic you guys have the best aviation channel on UA-cam hands down
I recently flew on an A321from SFO to ORD and they had a really cool seat display where the passenger could view the flight from all angles, including virtually from the cockpit. It had altitude, airspeed, heading etc and was really cool. Perhaps they have an "app" for that you could implement. It even allowed for a recap of the flight. OH, where's Francine or Jaana??
I’m right there with you Jon. At 18:50 where Shaun starts talking about patience, I have a 4 year old and I still have zero patience. I love the videos keep em up
Shaun and John, congrats on number 100, but more importantly, thanks for posting all your great content. For the last 9 or so months I’ve been following you guys and learning a ton as I watch Today I took my IFR check ride and passed! The DPE commented on my strong radio skills.......those I attribute to listening to you two. I can’t thank you guys enough!
You guys are the epitome of CRM !! Your videos are helping me alot with an efficient teamwork with my sim partner on the initial typerating for the 737
Great videos! Thank-you! I like them all, both short and full-flight. I used to occasionally travel in a Dassault Falcon corporate jet when the CEO wasn't using it. The pilots always let me do the entire trip in a hard, fold-down seat in the rear right of the cockpit, an old navigator's seat I suppose. Full-flight works for me. While other VPs where in the back, sipping coffee in recliners, kibitzing about projects and politics--the pilots explained to me so many things about the refitted glass cockpit, flying, etc. And the view at any altitude was always great. One night, on a severe weather approach to Meigs Field, they let me touch St. Elmo's Fire which was crawling around the windshield. You guys put me back in that cockpit, with the views, explanations, procedures, timing, teamwork, how to talk on the radio, professionalism, everything. Thanks. Keep 'em coming. Ideas for future videos: -Well, obviously St. Elmo's Fire, although I do not wish you that weather. -Ground-based video of takeoff, ground-based video of fly-over. Stitched in to your cockpit video. Would be cool to see. I might be able to help with this--I'm halfway between Opa Locka and Haulover. DC3s from Opa Locka climb out over my back yard almost everyday. I race to see them. If you could ever take such a low, slow climbout, it would be a beautiful sight, I could film it for you. In my parents day, we'd love to see a wing wag,
Sweet 100 guys. Congrats ! Can't wait to see the next 100. I feel really cool when people ask me if I know you two and I say yes. See ya back at the hangar
Great videos guys! And DEFINITELY NOT BORING!!! Even the long ones!! I find those the most entertaining actually, and educational. Even an armchair pilot like myself can derive quite a bit of valuable info from your videos. If you keep posting them, we'll keep watching them!!!
Nice landing Shaun! Another great video! From “tech Tuesday’s” to the excitement of a full length flight video, it never gets old! Great job and here’s to 100 more!
Being a non-pilot (can't pass the physical with an old seizure disorder) aviation geek, I love the full length videos. It is interesting to hear the radio traffic, your comments to each other and, of course, the scenery. The taxi is also great because it gives you a feel for your both your departure and arrival fields. Teterboro = Lots of big jets - Oklahoma City = Not so many. Keep up the great work and let me know when you hit OKC (I'm a patreon supporter) and I will buy you guys a steak!
Back before I retired from the USPS I had to fly into OKC (They didnt put me on no Presidential 69!) a few times, and it seemed everytime I went I would see the same security guy outside, he was close to retirement age, maybe was retired and doing this as an after job, but he was the nicest guy, everytime I went I'd see him and visit awhile. Nice people, for that matter, on one flight home while waiting, it seemed half the people on my flight were going to PDX to see their Thunder play the Blazers, I was the only Blazer fan and even after I told the group I was visiting with they were still really nice lol.
I have been a huge fan from the very beginning, watched all 100 Pilot VlOG. Looking forward to the next 100. Simply wonderful and educating, always .Thank you Gentleman -
Guys I’ve told a number of people about your videos. One is a up-and-coming pilot you’re giving great cockpit information keep on keeping on great job.
Congrats on your 100th VLOG. I like the full flight videos as it shows just what happens during the whole flight. It's not like a scripted movie as every flight has its own challenges. Since both of you have a great working relationship and trust in each other you provide a great learning experience for up and coming pilots. Look forward to many more.
Enjoyed the flight guys. It’s gets a bit crazy down where the VFR little guys are but you guys have the eagles eyes for sure. Thanks again for letting us ride along.
I really appreciate your allowing me to relive my pilot days with you guys. Your crew coordination is perfect 👌. I pray for your safe travels realizing that the most dangerous part is getting to and from the airport. 😁. Be well. Chip
For a future tech video it would be great to see how the nav waypoints show up in "the box" and how the alt and heading assignments show up on the mfd.
I also like the full-flight videos! If it's an eventful flight - well, that's news. But an uneventful flight is news too! It's the total process that is so interesting. Congrats on 100!
Love the longer videos. Don’t stop making them. I was flying home to Phoenix today with a stop over in Charlotte NC. I didn’t see the runway until we had already landed. The Captain came on and said we had just done a Class 3 landing where they didn’t have to see the runway in order to land. That was pretty cool and has to be a little nerve wracking for the flight crew lol might be something for one of your tech Tuesday’s to go over the different class’s of landings. Not sure how many there are.
Kudos guys on a job well done as usual I love Fort Lauderdale I was down in Hollywood Fort Lauderdale area back in 16 for about 4 months absolutely loved it hope to go back soon
I’m rewatching all the Sean and John videos. Hilarity and true friendship in the skies. What was he mad about the plane doing though? I fly the FISEL7 all the time in my sim...
Congrats on 100 vids! I could spend an entire week binge-watching those, HAHAHA! Bet it's 80 hours worth, at least. Long vids are great. Was chowing down a Subway sandwich, washing it down with a dark-n-stormy, and filling my face with pistachios. 😁 Nothing better than watching the view out the front or side glass, for me at least! Thanks Shaun and Jon for taking us along! 🍻
Hey guys, wanted to keep y’all updated with my pilots license! Things are going great! I flew into Class C airspace (KSAV) today and I’m very close to doing my first solo! I’m at about 9hrs and moving along nicely! So many things you guys do have helped me tremendously in becoming a great pilot! Once again, thanks for the amazing content!
smartycummins2500 - My instructor took me into a class C Airport (PDX) when I was a student and I landed there many times after I got my licence, but I switched to a nearby class D airport after 9/11 as it just got too expensive and kind of a hassle to land at a Class C Airport after 9/11. It was fun cause I always came in from the south and they would take me right over the tower at 1500' to join the downwind.

Grats on 100. I do enjoy both formats but the full lengths give us a great insight into " what goes on" when you're just " supervising" the box as it works. Another video idea, if you're able, a vid of you guys doing your sim training!
The full length videos could be boring for "normal folk", but for aviation enthusiasts/pilots it is just pleasure... this said, if you ever do a full transatlantic video, I'll set myself up with enough wine and munchies for the duration... 😎😂
Thanks for a great upload and 100th episode! For tech videos, it would be nice to see overhead panel with explanation, also various system pages (on ground vs. cruise), maybe showing us avionics bay?
Nice job guys, have to agree with everyone, l like the full length videos as well. I especially like it when you point out other aircrafts when you see it on tecast, nice.
Love the full flights. It like we are sitting in the jump seat with you guys. Congrats on the 100th video! Maybe a future tech video on how the on board WiFi works?
Guys Another great video. It is nice to see the red arrow pointing out other aircraft in your area, it is also good to show your path on the taxiways at the end. Another idea in my opinion would be to show a map of your flight at the start so that we can picture your route. Being from Down Under i am not familiar with a lot of the airports you fly from or to so it would give us a better picture of the flight.
Congrats on your 100th video! Looked like you all had a great time in NY! I enjoy the full flights too, at least the shorter ones. For the record, I don't mind if any F bombs are dropped! I'm sure you don't need them viewed by management though lol. As an aside, I just read an article I am mentioning below, perhaps you've flown in to the airport before. I know this is off topic, but I thought it worthy of noting as its about an Indonesian Air Traffic Controller who died while staying in the 4 story tower after his co workers ran for their lives during a 7.5 magnitude earth quake. He stayed because he had given take off clearance to a plane on the runway carrying hundreds of passengers and he wanted to make sure it got safely into the air before he left. The walls were crumbling so he ended up jumping from the 4th floor, died later of internal injuries. I just thought he was incredibly brave to stay with it even as his coworkers ran for their lives. Anthonius Gunawan Agung was his name and the article says he stayed in the collapsing tower to ensure the plane took off safely. RIP Mr. Agung!
I actually read about that after it happened...very tragic, but what dedication to the safety of others. I hope that he will be honored and remembered for generations to come.
@@CorporatePilotLife Yes, it would be great if they named the tower and/or field after him. Not being a pilot or ATC, I really don't know the level or risk involved for the flight, but for him to do what he did that's all the proof needed for me to know it was substantial to say the least.
At 2:43 and other times, are the holes in the upper panel for defog, or are they stereo speakers? :) Do the blue lamps for the lights get annoying -- they seem quite bright. Obviously they go dim at night when panel lights are on. Some seem brighter than others too!
Love the route out over the Indian River. I live in Rockledge and enjoy seeing the landmarks from altitude! Just curious have you ever run into a pilot named Terry Bender? Flew for a charter co. named Skybird Aviation out of Van Nuys CA. Might be retired now. I got to deadhead in their G2 a couple of times, love sittin' those cockpits looking out over the world....ya got a great job! Thanks for taking the time to make the videos!
We control the display screens with the Display Controller...that's the green screen that is always flickering on the glare shield. I'm going to do a Tech video on that soon. This airplane requires 2 pilots to fly legally. One pilot could physically do it in some sort of dire emergency, but like I said...it wouldn't be legal.
Great video! I happen to be in town so I'm doing my first ever flight from FXE tomorrow morning from Sano in a C177 Cardinal. I feel like I know the airport after seeing your videos 😆. So I'm prepared....
I like the full flight videos as well. From an aviator's standpoint I'd be really interested in seeing your preflight/before start/start procedures as well. Hell the preflight walk-around and cockpit prep would probably be a good tech video on it's own. Also on the takeoff roll, what is the "60KIAS hold"? Safe travels!
I did a vary basic walk around video, but I'll have to make a new one with more detail. the "60 hold" call on takeoff is for when the auto throttles go into hold mode and will not move any more until after takeoff. We are verifying at that point that the power is set properly.
I agree with a lot of guys that the full length vids are awesome. Sure would love to have you guys land at PDX some time so my Patreon would pay off. Thanks for another great video !
Hey boys Congrats on the 100th video. Im a huge fan of the channel and actually starting flight school this week. Thanks to you guys, im getting my foot in the door of a dream ive been wanting since i was 12. How do I become a member like those nice folks in NYC??? I remember u came to Minneapolis once and i wish i could have met u guys then...
I really enjoy watching your videos, especially when flying around the South Florida area. I grew up with aviation as part of my everyday life, my house was directly on the center line of 1L at North Perry Airport. I have worked in aviation my whole adult life - 25 years as an avionics specialist in the USAF & 7 in the aircraft simulation industry. I have a technical question, does the FMS control your vertical velocity on climb out? i noticed there wasn't any accent rate set in the autopilot control during climb out from ORD. Maybe the autopilot control panel would be a great tech video in the future, or did I miss that subject already?
That's a good question. The FMS can control the climb, but we usually don't do that. The reason you didn't see a climb rate set is because we were using Flight Level Change (FLCH) mode. That mode uses full power, then pitches to maintain the desired speed. This is usually the easiest way to get the best climb rate. I will definitely do a Tech video on the Flight Guidance Panel soon.
Coool Vid u Guys, Shawn you look a little like that actor Cristopher Walken, from the movie The Deer Hunter, On another note; From a Bachelors point of view some of those control tower Females sound Hot. I know you can't rely on just a voice. I'm a bonafide CB Radio operator so I know !!. Thanks fer taking us along. Cheers !!***.

Corporate Pilot Life sort of makes up for all the mean things I say about you ;-)
I for one love these full length flights, but guys this one was great!!! John was hilarious, you guys need your own comedy show!!! I’m still laughing!
donald smith agreed, this was a side of Jon I always suspected but never saw before. I'm gonna offer Jon some marriage counselling - trust me, I've been divorced twice, seen and heard it all!

Corporate Pilot Life Jerry told me to ask ;)
Newzchspy huh? What? Sorry, I was busy drinking ...
Great video from the old days! Watching again.
Love watching you guys work. Relaxed atmosphere but excellent cockpit discipline. Thanks for taking us along!
My wife and I enjoyed picking out landmarks as you passed over the Melbourne & Vero Beach area. Thanks for bringing us along.

Nice landing Shaun! Another great video! From “tech Tuesday’s” to the excitement of a full length flight video, it never gets old! Great job and here’s to 100 more!
Thanks for another full length flight video. I really enjoy them!

100 Videos!!! Seen em all and love every one of them. Keep them coming, long and short...doesn't matter. Great job!
Congrats CPL! Really enjoy your work.

I actually fish the Treasure Coast from time to time myself...
Congrats on the 100!
Congratulations on your 100th video.
Once again a throughly enjoyed video, everything stops for a CPL upload! :-)
Love the full length flights! This one was great, John was hilarious, you guys need your own comedy show!! Lmao

Not being a pilot or ATC, I really don't know the level or risk involved for the flight, but for him to do what he did that's all the proof needed for me to know it was substantial to say the least.
Don C there are a handful of genuinely selfless and brave people out there. God Speed Mr. Agung
At 2:43 and other times, are the holes in the upper panel for defog, or are they stereo speakers? :)
Do the blue lamps for the lights get annoying -- they seem quite bright. Obviously they go dim at night when panel lights are on.
Some seem brighter than others too!
Those holes are for the speaker. The lights seem brighter on camera than in person...I've never had an issue with them
Congrats on #100, Shaun. Hope to meet you and Jon in SAV when you come in for your engines reinstall.
Thanks! I can't say that I know Terry. It's a small community, but the name doesn't ring a bell.
Fascinating to watch video of a complete trip is never boring to me. How do you change your display screens and could 1 person fly this plane?
We control the display screens with the Display Controller...that's the green screen that is always flickering on the glare shield. I'm going to do a Tech video on that soon. This airplane requires 2 pilots to fly legally. One pilot could physically do it in some sort of dire emergency, but like I said...it wouldn't be legal.
Great video! I happen to be in town so I'm doing my first ever flight from FXE tomorrow morning from Sano in a C177 Cardinal. I feel like I know the airport after seeing your videos 😆. So I'm prepared....
Excellent! Have a great time!
Those aft engines sure make the cabin quiet!
turning left to turn right... the FS2004 ATC was bloddy good at this stuff : D
Congratulations on the 100th video.
Anyone else notice the old plane at 2:39 bottom left. Congrats on the 100 amigos by the way
Love the work y’all do. Any chance in showing you guys getting clearance and startup all while showing a whole flight as well?
yep...I will make that happen
Corporate Pilot Life Awesome!! Love the videos. Been watching for a few months. May seem weird, but seems like John’s lost a lot of weight, too!
Nice flight guys!!!
Big Yahoo on the 100-keep them coming
I agree with a lot of guys that the full length vids are awesome. Sure would love to have you guys land at PDX some time so my Patreon would pay off. Thanks for another great video !
Happy 100, here's to the next 100, plus 50 k subs.
congrats on reaching 100 videos !
What did the AP do at :18? Meant at 18 minutes when there was a ‘Why does it do that?”
I'm thinking there must be a number missing from that time stamp?
Corporate Pilot Life think he means the “time saver” that didn’t work just before 19:18.
Awesome! Let us know how the flight training goes. If you would like to join Patreon, here is the link:

So beautiful look at like the scenery in the air The to the sky
