High school dropout here, just got accepted to Berkeley as a transfer with a scholarship. I’m going to end up only paying the cost of one year of tuition at Berkeley, plus the $2,000-$3,000 I have spent on community college. I am proud to say I will get an education at the best public university in the world for less than $25,000. I couldn’t be more thankful for the route I took, with the hindsight of the covid pandemic, I have no idea where I would be right now had I gone to college out of high school. What seems like a tragedy today can turn into your biggest blessing tomorrow.
Perfect timing! I just accepted my admissions offer. Keep in mind that you don’t need perfect grades to get in just work hard at what you are best at.
