- The music for the Culling of Stratholme, Wrath's continuation of the Caverns of Time dungeons. Honestly, the actually content here isn't bad, my only problem is the music oddly enough. Now don't get me wrong, the music SOUNDS nice but I always thought that it wasn't really appropriate, or fitting for the matter. The music, to me, seems a little too upbeat in such a serious and defining moment for an important character like Arthas. Now I get it, the music's trying to show that this is Stratholme back before what's about to happen happens, y'know. Well, I mean even the beginning of the dungeon with the reveal of the plagued grain isn't played that seriously, but I just feel that the music should at least feel that. Now if most of the music sounded like the universal track (3:26) or the Mal'ganis track (11:42) which shows the drama and complete oddity of the situation (kind of like how the Escape From Durnholde music sounds) then it'd be okay with me, but just my opinion. Even with that, this is still a really cool dungeon.

It funny that you uploaded this, I've been really hooked on parts of this song recently, specifically 5:09 - 6:48 and 6:48 - 8:22 and 9:53 - 11:14 and... well you get the gist
+Alink2yoshi Well, like I said, definitely not bad music. Just unfitting music in my opinion. But yes, I does quite like those ones, especially 9:35.
+Yodragon Yeah, I actually read the description after posting that, but In some cases it can work, it fits the race agaisnt Mal'ganis like warcraft III, and also kinda shows urgency, but thats just my opinion, in I can definitely see where you're coming from, keep up the great work.
+Yodragon The 9:35 one fitted for me, the singing part adding the touch of drama for what's to come for Arthas, the upbeat song which makes you feel like there's a race against the clock in all this chaos, and it kind of translates well the conflicting feeling of killing your own kind transformed into undeads. That's only my opinion though, I can understand where your points stand and they do.

Love this music. Hey, here's something fun to do: take the universal music (from 3:26 to 5:09) then reverse it and change the speed by about 33 percent (speed not tempo, pitch matters). You might recognize the output.
Also thanks for uploading all this WoW music! Absolutely my favorite video game music overall. I also love the presentation with these videos. You put a ton of work into all this and it shows! Amazing work!

@@NotSeregnar How did you figure out it was reversed? I guess if you listen carefully you can pick up on the unnaturally warped attack and decay of the reversed recording. Nice pick up!

와우 안에서 시간여행을 통해 이전작 스토리를 체험한다는 자연스러운 컨셉이 너무나 맘에 들었고,
과거여행을 통해 와우가 워크래프트를 잇는다는 느낌을 강하게 준 덕분에 리치왕 당시에도 개인적으로 모든 인던 통틀어 가장 좋아했던 던전이었음.
Had such a fun with this dungeon, I think I did it a bajillion times.
Music was awesome, specifically the one starting at 5:10 (fitting for what was about to happen), the lore was awesome and the content thrilling.
Yodragon, I disagree with your take on the music. I believe it captured the essence of what Stratholme was.

Honestly I hate this music, I just don't get why it's so popular. It starts out so serious and epic, and then it just devolves into silly upbeat cartoonish music. Fail. I'd love it if they could expound on that first intro theme instead of changing the music so drastically.
