Well after watching the Duke Virginia game I am convinced. He was handcuffing that team. Coach likely feels obligated to make offense for some one like that, but he clearly did not fit in with the organization. Watching the Duke sets tonight looked night and day compared to when Jalen was involved. The odd thing about these "he is still a lottery pick" comments though is it makes me think people really aren't paying attention to Basketball this year. This has to be one of the worst draft classes in recent years right? I mean last year was bad too, and compared to what we saw from 2014 though 2019, it really seems crazy to even CARE that at one point he was projected as a lottery pick. He should have just went to the G League, because he was not right for College, and I think anyone who watched their games this season would agree that he was not helping that team succeed at all, especially on defense.
