At the 2:00 minute time stamp, I have that exact cross body bag (on the front passenger seat) with the 3 digit combination lock.

I was set on getting a GMC Canyon at4,,but for 9k cheaper I’m getting a Colorado Trail Boss, dealer will flash it for 400 and give you that 430 torque, the Trail Boss has a 2inch lift with 18s not those ugly 20inch low pro mud tires, I love that black plastic grill, it looks cool to me,,, I was gonna sell my bought new Tacoma and my 02 Silverado that I bought new,,to pay cash for truck w no payment ,,,, now I get to keep my classic Silverado that is in excellent shape, by saving 9k Tags for my 02 are 40 dollars a year!

It sounds like you've found a great alternative in the Colorado Trail Boss! With the cost savings, additional features, and keeping your classic Silverado, it seems like a smart move. The black plastic grill adds a cool touch. Enjoy your new truck and happy driving!

Did you notice overly loud road/tire noise with that Z71? I just picked mine up last week and it’s the loudest vehicle I’ve ever had. Even more so than my old Wrangler.

@@isaac4396 it actually ended up being two bad tires. Never seen that before but dealer replaced them and boom, quiet as can be.

@@Thatbeardedguy86 I've watched a handful of POV vids with folks driving specifically the Z71 trim (the one I'm chasing after), and although they don't explicitly call out the tire or wind noise, I can't get a good gauge of its loudness. Especially in the upper 75/85 MPH range. Would you say it's fine for the segment/tolerable/can get annoying after a while?

@@chadbaptiste4227 so I dug into it because I’ve driven dozens of different trucks and suvs over the years and it didn’t seem right. It ended up SOMEHOW being two bad tires causing the excessive noise. Dealer swapped them one by one (after I forced them to test ride with me in a couple Colorados) to find it and then replaced them and it was much much quieter.
I’d say it’s probably on par loudness with the Tacoma when it comes to tire noise. Wheel wells aren’t lined the best it seems. But doesn’t bother me at all anymore and now I have Falken Wildpeak AT3W on it.

@@Thatbeardedguy86 just looked up the tire brand you listed, they do look tame enough for comfortable pavement driving. Dig it man, I'll keep that in mind!
