I made an arch out of some fallen eucalyptus branches with the leaves stripped off and wove it together with Jasmine vines. Jasmine is so pliable. It’s like a rope. Cool video!! Nothing looks better than all natural home made garden pieces. 😉😃
Hey I found you cause Scott sent me here and I subbed to both of you. Great Video Thanks so much I am going to start building. Happy gardening to you :-)
I've just subscribed to your channel as recommended by Scott Head. Scott is right, you are talented and should have more followers. I look forward to watching more videos from you.
I love solutions that are both functional and beautiful. Your trellis is so charming. I can’t wait to see what it looks like with the cucumbers growing on it.
I can wait too! I would plant my cucumbers right now... but unfortunately I need to wait another 3 weeks until my last frost date is over :( But boy I cant wait to pick cucumbers from this trellis :)
Small Garden Quest I just have some metal and store bought wooden Trellis. One year we dug up an old tree and it had the coolest root structure. I turned it upside down. I used it for a mandavilla vine to grow on. People loved it! It lasted about 10 years!
Sharing is caring! This is wonderful, I am building new beds and I grow lots of runners. I was going to chip up those trees, but now I will use them as a trellis. Thank you for taking the time to share this with us and thank you Scott for sending me here.
Wonderful! Yes sharing is caring! Go for it and build a splendid trellis, than I wxpect that you will post some pictures on my FB wall so I can see it too :)
Love the trellis❣️. We also do that with branches that we’ve trimmed. We’re all about repurpose-reuse here & try to be creative. And yes, Scott Head is one of my favs 🧤🍅🥬
Very nice! But forget about throwing the shorter sticks in a burn pile. Use the short twigs for other trellis projects! Cukes, tomatoes, small melons, etc.
Hi! I came over from Scott's channel! I love this trellis! It is beautiful as well as functional! I can't wait to see it with cucumbers on it. Thanks!! -Lea
I love this, my entire garden is built from found materials. Just came over from Scott's channel to have a look, now a new subscriber! Please tell me where you garden, what climate zone. Thank you! 🌱
I am from sLOVEnia a small country in Europe. My gardening zone is similar to 7a. First frost date is at the end of October and last frost date is at the beginning of May. Where are you from?
@@SmallGardenQuest I currently live and garden on a small island off the northwest coast of Washington State, Camano Island, in the US. The general west coast gardening zone is considered 8, however, according to Western gardening books, I am in micro-climate 5, the Northwest Coast and Puget Sound area. I look forward to watching your past videos, we appear to have a similar rustic esthetic in gardening.
Oleander and Arizona ash grow long and fast out here in the Mohave desert. A pretty soft wood. Stays flexible. Bet it would work for this. Thanks for the info. ;-)
@@SmallGardenQuest I always liked my plans 😬 or my cat eat them I like to make play list of gardeners and listen to it while going to sleep lol right now my "garden" is just 3 pots I don't have space for an outdoor garden I am trying to germinate basil

I would love to see an upside down tree as a trellis 🙃🙃🙃🙃
Great tips on making a trellis! Plus it looks beautiful once the plants start to grow on it. 👍😊❤️🌿
Yes I can't wait! Do you also have a trellis?
@@SmallGardenQuest I did but my 2 mini donkeys broke it. I still adore them much!
A great opportunity to build new ones 😊
