The one I am working on has an actual button in the center. I forgot to notate which connector go to the button and the the connection the button hits 🤦🏼 I am installing a new clock spring

This is the second time (and second truck) I've used this video to take off the buttons and clean them with alcohol. I jut soak the units button side down in a bowl of rubbing alcohol while pressing the buttons repeatedly. Shake off the excess and then dry them with the bunk heater before putting them back on. You can restore power after you have them removed to run the truck, just cut the power switch back off to do the install when you are ready.

Can you do this same process to a steering wheel but with an air bag

It should be the same process but I have not seen a Freightliner Cascadia with a Air bag on the steering wheel. If that is the case be careful remove it the air bag.

the question is NEVER wether its possible or not. the question is ALWAYS how to make it happen. sometimes to make something happen costs way too much money for it to be worth it for some ppl.

Im looking for a video on how to remove the dash that has the radio in order to install a dual tray in that big section left of the radio. My truck has a blank plate. I have the dual trays already.
