Sometimes all it takes to make a new home for yourself, even in the most foreign of lands, is to find someone who can make anywhere feel like home. Felix talks about how his members feel like family, and that's probably true, but I have a feeling one of them in particular is most responsible for making Korea feel like home to him. Felix is very lucky to have that because I don't think most foreign-born idols ever settle into Korea completely.

Seeing them when they were younger is really cute. They were so cute towards each other, especially the hyungs. I appreciate so much what you said so perfectly explained what lot of us think about Chris. With him being my ult bias and a very important pilar in my life, these past days have been extraordinary awful to deal with. In today's Chan's Room the story has been repeated again with him reading aloud a comment saying "your rap at MAMA was so cringey". Him giving a full speech and laughing at himself to justify his part on the rap it's been painful as hell. I feel like him reassuring those comments (as he did with his infamous vulnerable moment at the 1st of May concert) while laughing at himself is nothing but a shield. It may be an effective method to evade those hateful comments but he really DOESN'T HAVE TO think like that about himself just because some people have empty hearts.
I can’t work out if he acknowledges the negative comments as a way to call the haters out - like “this doesn’t phase me, yes I see what you write” because in a way people don’t think the idol will actually see what they write. Or if he saying those things is because he is struggling a little bit and can’t seem to look past those comments. Either way I just hope he is ok ❤️
@@melaniereacts we people with low self-steem sometimes tend to pick up the negative comments above the positive ones. And it's something unconscious, is just our mind being terribly selective and trying to deal with those the best we can. I don't wanna say this is what happens to him, but since he has said several times that he has problems with his self steem (so UNFAIR), this theory is one I've had in mine for a while. Anyway, as you well said, I wish him to have that person he can relies on. Cause he's charging way too much on his shoulders...

I could get a million compliments but would only pay attention to the ONE negative comment. Also not saying this is what Chan is going through but definitely can relate if it is!!

He’s the one closest to his age too. Woojin I’m sure was that person since he was older but since he left, he’s had to rely a lot on the younger members. When Bangchan said in the 2kidsroom with Seungmin that sometimes when they are all together he feels lonely, that is a big sign for me that he needs someone, support, affection. He does everything for his members and its clear that for him they're the priority, and he want to be dependable, but... he is a human, he needs the same things as them, and even if he acts like its not, i think that he would be greatful if someone gave him all of this. I want the best for him, i want him to be supported, loved, and helped when he needs it. He deserves the best, really. (and i'm not saying that the members dont treat him well or dont want to give him all of this, they truely love him, i just think he is stuck in a role, like a big brother who doesnt want attention etc, and the others are used to this and respect his choice. But its just my though, as you said they know each other and the situation better than us)
I think the issue is, he probably needs somebody but I don’t think it can be one of the members. I think he needs somebody to lean on who is outside of the team. Can we just start a petition to find Chan an amazing, supportive girlfriend who can cook him meals, cuddle him to sleep and be a shoulder to cry on? 😭 I would seriously feel so happy if he had a person like that in his life. Someone he could feel 100% himself with and someone he isn’t afraid to show his true emotions to. Seungmin and felix are very close, they refer to eachother as best friend. It's just I think felix may have saw chan as an older brother/leader and felt that it was harder to "take care" of him, which is kind of what younger Chan was going for but it backfired a little bit. Chan didn't even show that much agyeo to felix as much as he did with the other memebers. They have a 1 kids room series that I getting most of this info from and highly suggest it specifically felix and chan's episode will give you a look at kind of how felix behaved towards the rest of the members vs chan and vise versa. I use past tense because they have solved this misunderstanding, since both this ep and the one kids room series. One of felix's presents is a chain bracelet chan confirms he never takes off, a lot of stays didn't even know it came from felix for years.

It was just so nice to see him just relaxing and hanging out getting to be home, and he just looked sooo happy the entire time!! Couldn’t keep a smile off my face! And I totally agree about Channie I have been really worried about him lately, especially with some of the things I’ve seen. It just makes me so upset and angry when I see the things that are said to him. No one deserves it, but least of all him! It was sooo nice to see felix with his family and see him having a great time🥺🥺💕💕 and Olivia was so cute when she started crying when she saw felix. Also about felix using big words, as a korean myself, i personally love love love his way of speaking it. Like... if a particular language is your native language, it's really hard to use "beautiful words" instead of bad words. He really uses 아름답다, 예술 같다 instead of 좋아요, 예뻐요 and makes the thing more beautifully(like words in poetry) . Really love the way he sees the world and describes it🥺💕 And i totally agree with you about channie. I think he feels happier when he can help other people than being helped by someone else. I don't want to get too deep with MBTI because everyone has different personality but ENFJ really likes to help people and feel really happy when they realize they can be helpful. He likes to protect and make sure that everyone can feel safe next to him. That's one of the reasons why he wants to stay strong alone( not like "alone " but not getting help from others) It's his own way of achieving happiness and love the way the members appreciate him but always there for him. Chan is strong but really soft at the same time he needs someone when he feels sad. But sometimes just being next to someone when that person needs someone can be better than words or motions. To be honest I agree with you in regards to the whole Chan conversation. Lately the lives have become quite hard to watch just because of recent events where he seems to be voicing the unpleasant comments a lot more, and also, we know he lingers around on social media because he tends to bring a lot of it up, especially lately the bad stuff. All we can do is hope he has support around him, which i'm sure the members will always stay by his side, but you can't help but worry when Chan is so giving, and also the way he hates asking for anything in return. But I think we can place faith on SKZ in that they're the pillar in Chan's world. That's been on my mind a lot more in recent months too honestly, it's really heartbreaking we can't directly do anything for him. Also, if I remember correctly, I think Felix said his older sister Rachel was involved in psychology? I'm not 100% certain on that but I remember he was talking about that on one of his Vlives, and how when he struggled with Korean and studying, he would often call her for advice. I think he was saying that she had expertise in that area, and taught him how not to stress out in those situations and try to take things slow. :)

I think so too with the birthday, I think he wants it in the sense of feeling loved but he doesn't want the attention or them spending money on him, like he thinks he is not worth it. I mean he always wears the bracelet Felix gave to him, so you can tell he really likes it. About the crying I am not sure I kinda can relate to that, on one hand I want people to notice I am not ok but on the other hand I don't want it I hate crying infront of someone and showing that side, but yeah I don't know if Chan is the same. It might be because he is the oldest sibling and the leader in SKZ that he feels such a strong urge to be seen as strong and a unwavering pillar. I agree with you on the whole chan conversation , it breaks my heart sometimes how he takes all the pressure on himself and struggles to take any love and care back . honestly I'm not too sure why he's voicing every negative comment toward himself he gets an abnormal amount of hate for anything he does or says that on top of the workload and stress he has idk how I would react in his shoes so I can't fault him for whatever reaction he has . Imo chan do need that love its just that he doesn't want to admit it. I mean he even made a song named "i don't want to admit " 💀 so now u can see what kind of a person he is. He thinks it will be burden? Bothering? To others if they care for him but deep down he needs that love and care. Or another thing can be if he sees someone giving him their true love and care he thinks he is responsible to love and care for them in return and if he fails to do so he might hurt them. so he just push people away in order to protect his and others feelings. (This is completely based on my experience. Also felix seems to speak with the vocabulary words he learned in his Korean lessons textbooks haha. I think that’s why it sounds odd because some words aren’t commonly used in that way in casual conversations. I think because he self studies a lot that he doesn’t really have to opportunity to practice using the new vocabularies he learn so it just comes out randomly when he’s speaking with members when he’s trying to deeply expresss himself the best way he can.
I hope this is the case! I really do… it’s just hard to know though because on one hand this it totally something Chan would do (call haters out) but on the other hand it could be a sign of insecurity and struggle. Truly hope it’s not though and that he is making the haters aware that 1. What they write won’t phase him and that 2. Think before you write… so many people think the artists wont see what they send. So calling them out is a good wake up call in a way.
Chan does have a habit of reading negative stuff on camera. It's not that he's doing it on purpose but I feel it's more that he wants to bring attention to it for a good cause coz only if you talk about it in healthy manner like chan does , only there will some kind of room for change for such things.I've never seen idols actually confront such things on camera, mainly because one, their company warns them to not do it and two, whether its true or false or whether the idol is defending themselves or not, they will definitely get backlash either way. It's a one way street with a dead end. And the best thing you can do is to ignore it coz that's the best response otherwise just suffer and get attacked on a daily basis which is inhuman and preposterous. I know for a fact that those people do that only because they're hiding behind a screen. None of them actually has the balls to say that to anyone's faces. I believe and I know that chan has an incredible sense of purpose and he's very intelligent. He knows what he's doing. I feel that way coz he constantly calls out stays who are toxic because he knows that as the fandom grows bigger, it'll be harder to control or convince those stays to stop and if we do it now, every stay that comes into the fandom goes with that healthy mindset. Even though we have a toxic side like every fandom, let me tell you Mel, no one calls out toxic stays like we stays do. Every morning to night its either dealing with antis or with toxic stays. Its a war zone. Constantly. The things we had to hear just because we won an award and just because chan rapped...its been over 4 days. I've never seen someone who takes his responsibility as a leader with such seriousness and always want us to do good and be better people, not just for others but for ourselves as well. Its not just being an artist for him, he knows that what he does can really influence people and I've seen and heard stories of how many lives he had changed. The only thing that bothers me is that he actually expects to be attacked just for anything. Like i said, no matter what you do, you get backlash either way. No person deserves that. I don't know how can people actually laugh at the way someone suffers, all in the security behind a screen. Its sadistic and absolutely awful and in that sense, I wish we could protect him more. Because whats happening to him now is beyond just kpop and seriously getting out of hand. Its fucking scary. But I trust Chan. I trust him enough to know that he absolutely knows what he's doing. And to the people who push him down everyday, please know that Bangchan will always rise above you. He always have and always will. He'll always be the better person. I trust him.

On a 2 Kids Room with Chan and IN that came out earlier this year, they mentioned that Chan opens up to IN a lot. Chan said he really feels comfortable talking to IN about his concerns, so hopefully he relies on him a lot. He’s also mentioned somewhere before that Lee Know is the person he relies on the most. He’s the one closest to his age too. Woojin I’m sure was that person since he was older but since he left, he’s had to rely a lot on the younger members. I think he also has BamBam from Got7 because they used to be trainees together I think
When Bangchan said in the 2kidsroom with Seungmin that sometimes when they are all together he feels lonely, that is a big sign for me that he needs someone, support, affection. He does everything for his members and its clear that for him they're the priority, and he want to be dependable, but... he is a human, he needs the same things as them, and even if he acts like its not, i think that he would be greatful if someone gave him all of this. I want the best for him, i want him to be supported, loved, and helped when he needs it. He deserves the best, really. (and i'm not saying that the members dont treat him well or dont want to give him all of this, they truely love him, i just think he is stuck in a role, like a big brother who doesnt want attention etc, and the others are used to this and respect his choice. But its just my though, as you said they know each other and the situation better than us)
I think the issue is, he probably needs somebody but I don’t think it can be one of the members. I think he needs somebody to lean on who is outside of the team. Can we just start a petition to find Chan an amazing, supportive girlfriend who can cook him meals, cuddle him to sleep and be a shoulder to cry on? 😭 I would seriously feel so happy if he had a person like that in his life. Someone he could feel 100% himself with and someone he isn’t afraid to show his true emotions to. That way he can be the person he wants to be in the team, but have that support on a deeper level outside of the team!

Seungmin and felix are very close, they refer to eachother as best friend. It's just I think felix may have saw chan as an older brother/leader and felt that it was harder to "take care" of him, which is kind of what younger Chan was going for but it backfired a little bit. Chan didn't even show that much agyeo to felix as much as he did with the other memebers.
They have a 1 kids room series that I getting most of this info from and highly suggest it specifically felix and chan's episode will give you a look at kind of how felix behaved towards the rest of the members vs chan and vise versa.
I use past tense because they have solved this misunderstanding, since both this ep and the one kids room series. One of felix's presents is a chain bracelet chan confirms he never takes off, a lot of stays didn't even know it came from felix for years.

I’m so glad I’m not the only one that got emotional during Felix’s vlog, especially when his little sister cried! He’s always the sweetest and his vlogs are all my comfort videos for sure! Like... if a particular language is your native language, it's really hard to use "beautiful words" instead of bad words. He really uses 아름답다, 예술 같다 instead of 좋아요, 예뻐요 and makes the thing more beautifully(like words in poetry) . Really love the way he sees the world and describes it🥺💕
And i totally agree with you about channie. I think he feels happier when he can help other people than being helped by someone else. I don't want to get too deep with MBTI because everyone has different personality but ENFJ really likes to help people and feel really happy when they realize they can be helpful. He likes to protect and make sure that everyone can feel safe next to him. That's one of the reasons why he wants to stay strong alone( not like "alone " but not getting help from others) It's his own way of achieving happiness and love the way the members appreciate him but always there for him. Chan is strong but really soft at the same time he needs someone when he feels sad. But sometimes just being next to someone when that person needs someone can be better than words or motions. To be honest I agree with you in regards to the whole Chan conversation. Lately the lives have become quite hard to watch just because of recent events where he seems to be voicing the unpleasant comments a lot more, and also, we know he lingers around on social media because he tends to bring a lot of it up, especially lately the bad stuff. All we can do is hope he has support around him, which i'm sure the members will always stay by his side, but you can't help but worry when Chan is so giving, and also the way he hates asking for anything in return. But I think we can place faith on SKZ in that they're the pillar in Chan's world. That's been on my mind a lot more in recent months too honestly, it's really heartbreaking we can't directly do anything for him.
Also, if I remember correctly, I think Felix said his older sister Rachel was involved in psychology? I'm not 100% certain on that but I remember he was talking about that on one of his Vlives, and how when he struggled with Korean and studying, he would often call her for advice. I think he was saying that she had expertise in that area, and taught him how not to stress out in those situations and try to take things slow. :)

I think so too with the birthday, I think he wants it in the sense of feeling loved but he doesn't want the attention or them spending money on him, like he thinks he is not worth it. About the crying I am not sure I kinda can relate to that, on one hand I want people to notice I am not ok but on the other hand I don't want it I hate crying infront of someone and showing that side, but yeah I don't know if Chan is the same. I agree with you on the whole chan conversation , it breaks my heart sometimes how he takes all the pressure on himself and struggles to take any love and care back . honestly I'm not too sure why he's voicing every negative comment toward himself he gets an abnormal amount of hate for anything he does or says that on top of the workload and stress he has idk how I would react in his shoes so I can't fault him for whatever reaction he has . I think the members has slowly been trying to understand and give him more love and care in a way that he'll accept it they have been giving him more gifts it's so cute watching how happy he is with felix's bracelet that he never takes off or unboxing i.n's apple watch . he needs to work on himself too to accept more because the example you used about crying in front of seungmin I'm sure seungmin wanted to ask him if he was okay but because he knew chan wouldn't want to talk (even if that's not true) or didn't want to make him feel even more uncomfortable he just let him get his emotions out at least . chan always always mentioned he wanted to be a reliable older brother and leader to them and even tho they assure him he still is even if he showed his emotions he doesn't believe that deep down the trainee days really did a lot to him .

I’m probably totally wrong but I was reading the Chan situation differently. Chan said once that there’s nothing that hurts him more than seeing one of his members hurting so I read his recent calling out of mean comments as like him showing the haters that it doesn’t faze him, he’s used to it, he knows it’s not true but it bothers him because he’s thinking bout the ridiculous level of hate Hyunjin and now felix has been getting lately and how maybe they aren’t as mentally strong as him to cope so he’s frustrated.
I guess we’ll never really know but best leader is strong so I believe there’s nothing he can’t persevere from
Also felix seems to speak with the vocabulary words he learned in his Korean lessons textbooks haha. I think that’s why it sounds odd because some words aren’t commonly used in that way in casual conversations. I think because he self studies a lot that he doesn’t really have to opportunity to practice using the new vocabularies he learn so it just comes out randomly when he’s speaking with members when he’s trying to deeply expresss himself the best way he can.
I hope this is the case! I really do… it’s just hard to know though because on one hand this it totally something Chan would do (call haters out) but on the other hand it could be a sign of insecurity and struggle. Truly hope it’s not though and that he is making the haters aware that 1. What they write won’t phase him and that 2. Think before you write… so many people think the artists wont see what they send. Chan does have a habit of reading negative stuff on camera. It's not that he's doing it on purpose but I feel it's more that he wants to bring attention to it for a good cause coz only if you talk about it in healthy manner like chan does , only there will some kind of room for change for such things.I've never seen idols actually confront such things on camera, mainly because one, their company warns them to not do it and two, whether its true or false or whether the idol is defending themselves or not, they will definitely get backlash either way. It's a one way street with a dead end. And the best thing you can do is to ignore it coz that's the best response otherwise just suffer and get attacked on a daily basis which is inhuman and preposterous. I know for a fact that those people do that only because they're hiding behind a screen. None of them actually has the balls to say that to anyone's faces.
I believe and I know that chan has an incredible sense of purpose and he's very intelligent. He knows what he's doing. I feel that way coz he constantly calls out stays who are toxic because he knows that as the fandom grows bigger, it'll be harder to control or convince those stays to stop and if we do it now, every stay that comes into the fandom goes with that healthy mindset. Even though we have a toxic side like every fandom, let me tell you Mel, no one calls out toxic stays like we stays do. Every morning to night its either dealing with antis or with toxic stays. Its a war zone. Constantly. The things we had to hear just because we won an award and just because chan rapped...its been over 4 days. I've never seen someone who takes his responsibility as a leader with such seriousness and always want us to do good and be better people, not just for others but for ourselves as well. Its not just being an artist for him, he knows that what he does can really influence people and I've seen and heard stories of how many lives he had changed. The only thing that bothers me is that he actually expects to be attacked just for anything. Like i said, no matter what you do, you get backlash either way. No person deserves that. I don't know how can people actually laugh at the way someone suffers, all in the security behind a screen. Its sadistic and absolutely awful and in that sense, I wish we could protect him more. Because whats happening to him now is beyond just kpop and seriously getting out of hand. Its fucking scary. But I trust Chan. I trust him enough to know that he absolutely knows what he's doing. And to the people who push him down everyday, please know that Bangchan will always rise above you. He always have and always will. He'll always be the better person. I trust him.
I truly hope this is the reason. The more success they achieve, the more hate that will “naturally come” which is so frustrating. But I truly hope that they will have the support they need (from each other, from family, from the company) to be able to persevere! ❤️❤️❤️
