i've been to pre-recordings in korea! they usually do a couple of takes, around 2-3? it depends if the pd is satisfied. sometimes they finish in one go but more often than not, it's a couple of takes! inside the broadcasting hall, we're there for at least 30 minutes. because after each take they have to monitor the performance and touch up on the side. it could take longer sometimes hehe just wanna share too that before we actually get into the studio, we have to line up outside. the time is designated by staff and we have to be there a few hours before since they're really strict with checking qualifications. they go through each and every person, checking their names, their melon streams and their official membership. so let's say 100 people get into the pre-recording, staff have to go through all those people and issue their numbers in line. after that they do another round where they distribute broadcast pcs. it's a really long wait but it's so worth it cause once you get inside, aside from seeing them perform their songs a lot of times you also get interactions with them. like how felix was talking to stays off to the side in skz talker. you get a lot of intimate interaction like that. it really is a whole experience to physically attend music shows in korea :(
I LOVE the SKZ talkers!! I wish we got to see more of Channie, but it’s ok!! At least we get to see quite a bit of him in 51 I feel like, I just love seeing him so much!! I think it’s so endearing how Changbin’s vlogs are always him spending time with his family when he has time off! And I never get the not knowing when there’s food on your mouth either, I always feel like I feel it! 🤣 Love the reactions as always Mel, especially the long ones!! 💙
One of the reasons they can't film the day before is there are music shows on those days too. All music shows have their allocated days since there's pre recordings and also live shows, but yeah it's tiring. At least it was only 2 weeks of promotion this time I believe thankfully. Not all idols get to do pre recordings though especially those from small companies
Hyunjin look so young at 37:05 😄 I think one reason why he looks younger is because of eyebrows. His eyebrows are lighter color than usual so that makes him look softer? Maybe they use less make-up and this is closer his natural color? I don't know. Handsome as always but he just looks so much younger. 😁

I agree that their scheduling needs to be better for CBs 😢 - From what I’ve noticed since they do special backdrops and sets on the first week these need to be shot separately and the broadcasting station accommodates these by setting a separate time for pre-recording (mainly for ingress, set-up, and egress requirements) before the live show which has a standard set for all idols that are performing that day. Since the kids promote on Mnet-Thu, KBS-Fri, MBC-Sat, and SBS-Sun. They would have to do it for four straight days with that schedule. The next two weeks are easier because they can do the standard live show promotion. The set-up isn’t ideal for all the idols and all the staff (both div1 and broadcasting station) as well.

ive struggled to understand numbers in Korean, but from what I understand they use math once they reach 10,000. The word for 10,000 in Korean is 만 (man). Any number higher than 10,000 is a calculation. So to say 2,000,000 they say “200 times 10,000” which would be 200 만. So the cake says “200” on it because in korean that means 2,000,000. Its very confusing and i struggled to explain it but i hope that makes some sense 😭

ive watched a few non-fan reactions on bilibili so chinese reactions and many of the first time reactors actually mistake lee know as the youngest when they only see photos of them or mvs. apparently, it's his big doe eyes and soft exterior on first impressions.
maybe because after the pre-recording they still have to wait for the on-air broadcast like the winner announcement in the end of the shows with the live voting and stuffs so they can't go with the yesterday pre-record since it waste a lot of time to do the exact make up and outfit for the live show too, i think they still have a time to sleep after the pre-recording until the time to get on live broadcast like interview with the mc and encore (if they win). also with the music shows schedules which almost everyday for 2 weeks promotion, it kinda impossible to make it 2 days work for 1 show. CMIIW :'
