  • Legendary Danish synthpop ensemble Scatterbrain in concert on 5th January 2006.
    This was the only gig since 1984 with the original lineup, consisting of Jens Mose (bass, synth), Jesper Siberg (vocal, synth, sequencer), Morten Torp (vocal, synth, guitar) and Hilmer Hassig (guitar).

    Stort.. Jeg spillede med Hilmer fra 73´ indtil han begyndte med Scatterbrain.. Undertegned gik "Pop/balle vejen".. Scatterbrain holder stadig, og det var kærkommen at se dem igen til Støttekoncerten for Hilmers børn.. En koncert som altid vil være printet dybt i mig.

    Jeg véd ikke, hvor i verden jeg var i 2006, da Sc.Br. optrådte på AmagerBio, men havde jeg vidst det, så havde jeg været der. Tak for up-load :D

    Yes, Vatican Reggae (the last song in this concert) was the stand out/"most commercial" track on the first album (never really liked the second album, don't know if I still have it - bought the albums in the 90's when it was sort of all over, I think).
    But the last "song" on the first album also made a really big impression on me (especially when played on a turntable, where the pickup arm doesn't automatically return when the record is over).
    Much better sound in this concert than on the first album, though (it's not so easy when you're on a very small independent record label, to get a decent recording budget, i guess).
