I know that everybody is talented in their own way and that everyone’s different. But something about Taemin’s artistry just hits differently. He is honestly THE most beautiful, talented, great, perfect singer/dancer/artist I know. The way he moves is just out of this world. He makes it look so effortless, so graceful, soft yet hard at the same time. I applauded you Lee Taemin.

No but casual Kpop fans just don't get it. 'Just Me and You' is THE video that epitomizes 13+ years of Taemin’s growth and artistry in one single performance. It is the pinnacle of his artistic career and encapsulates every sacrifice he has made in dedication to his craft since he was no more than a little boy.
This is THE video that I will show to anyone who is curious about Taemin or wants to know more about his work. It is THAT complete a performance. Months after I saw it for the first time, I am still in compete awe of his beauty and artistry. I am so endlessly proud to be his fan not just today, but for the rest of my life.

What a discerning fan you are. I agree that this is the distillation of Taemin´s artistry. This is an emotionally & psychologically sophisticated interpretation of a rather banal love song. He has such a deep understanding of the human condition, of the complexity of what it is to love -- this is a rather dark vision, the underbelly of love which resides in all of us. He is utterly brilliant and just on a whole other plane. He is literary, cinematic and musical -- nobody is like Lee Taemin.

This choreography is so beautiful. I love the part where he runs towards his shadow on the wall seemingly free like a portal will open up and he'll be able to pass through into a different world but ends up hitting the wall and sinking to the ground. It kind of reminds me of how we're all hoping for an unrealistic solution sometimes but are faced with the hard truth of reality in the end.

My favorite thing about Taemin is that he is one hell of a storyteller. I am consistently captivated with HOW he delivers. In this VCR, Taemin performs (and struggles) with a “physical shadow” WHILE in the spotlight. How he picks up the paint brush to start his “portrait” yet destroys in due to dissatisfaction. 🤯 Internal struggles and fighting inner demons…something we all deal with.

I’m overwhelmed by reading the comments. Can’t help but remember shinee debut days, how his teachers said he didn’t have rhythm and how he barely had lines. He wasn’t born perfect like this, he practiced, he fucking worked his ass off. He is such a perfectionist and workaholic, every detail is important to him and it shows. I’m humbled by him. He motivates me so much. Ever since the album came out I fell in love with Just Me and You. I’ve been listening to this song obsessively ever since and seeing this work of art by him is just bringing me to a whole other emotional level I can’t even explain. Taemin, you worked so hard. This is a masterpiece, Taemin is an artist in every sense of the word. I am in awe at his performance, I already loved this song but the video took my breath away in a whole new way. I always love how Taemin expresses his feelings and emotions, you can hear it in his voice, you can see it the way he moves, and in his facial expressions, he is beyond talented. 오랜만에 보러왔는데 볼때마다 느끼지만 정말 태민에 아트비디오같은 느낌... 아직까지도 태민하면 중학생 어린막내같은 느낌으로만 기억하고 있는사람이 많은데 15년이란 긴세월동안 너무나 많은 활동과 고민과 노력을 해오면서 전문적으로 현대무용을 배운것도 아니면서도 자신만에 느낌으로만으로 저렇게나 아름다운 예술을 만들어내고있다는걸 정말 많은사람이 알아줬음 좋겠다란생각이드네 자신이 가진 모든걸 이용해서 예술가로써의 표현을 한다는것이 너무나 멋지고 아름답다
