A wildlife wrestling showdown was captured in film by a group of amazed tourists, ending in an unexpected twist.
While on safari in Chobe Park, Botswana, November, Roselyne Kerjosse, captured an epic triple threat match between a hungry python, a lucky honey badger and a sneaky pair of jackals that would put the WWE to shame.
When the 60-year-old began recording, the honey badger was in mortal danger, with the python wrapping its entire body around the badger and squeezing the life out of the its prey.
Luckily for the badger, a pair of jackals got involved in the showdown and after attacking the snake, the desperate badger managed to escape the coils of death.

This video should be used as a motivational tool in learning about never giving up and fighting through adversity. This Badger I thought was dead when it was in the grips of the python, somehow it got out of that predicament only to have to still overcome the snake but fight off two additional predators who were trying to benefit from its hard work. A true lesson in resiliency and tenacity.
Totally unexpected outcome. I too was dazzled by the plot twist.
He didn't appreciate those who saved him by at least sharing the meal. He chased them away so that he could have the former enemy to himself.

everybody gets this video the wrong way. the case is not, that the python attacked the poor HB, but that the HB attacked the python but the somehow the python got a grip on the HB. of course the HB has a very thick skin/coat and is very strong, so he got himself free and dthen killed the python.

Honey Badgers are absolutely amazing creatures. They're also ferocious enough to fight off just about any other predator. They're highly intelligent, fearless & almost indestructible. They can be killed but even lions won't mess with a really angry honey badger.

I for one thought that Honey Badger was a goner. That was a Rock Python which get VERY BIG and are nasty snakes. But i think the Jackals saved the day. Even though the Badger wasn't having any of them stealing his reward. Once the badger got the back of the snakes neck i knew it was over. They have IMMENSE jaw strength and very strong claws. Those African badgers are amazing animals, they are actually designed to hunt snakes and be able to fend them off, they have very thick skin so most flesh wounds don't bother them. The fur coat is loose on them, so they can get out of almost any predator's grip. Amazing to watch this guy scare off two grown jackals, too.

They take full prices of lions and hyenas on not that they’d kill the lions or hyenas but they threaten them enough to the point where 80% of the time the honey badger gets away bcuz the lions give up (big cats aren’t use to encountering them and having them actually fight back)
