I saw my dearly departed Flair’s bath face almost identical to Boo’s! She too was not a fan of the bath. And always fell into a deep sleep afterwards, too. Love The Grady Bunch,❤
Boo looks so bootiful after her bath & brushing! For an upcoming episode, can you please let us know if Jamba's kids Eve and Topper are now participating in dog shows? Also, have you announced who Sherlock's father is?
Topper has been shown a few times, both in AKC all-breed shows, and in specialties run by our national breed club. He is not yet physically matured enough to warrant any wins, but he has a promising future.
Sherlock's sire is "George," the dog who is not in his ancestry. So we don't have a line breeding, but George is an outstanding Blenheim who was bred by a highly regarded UK breeder.
What a wonderful bunch of pups! I always learn something useful from your videos - didn't know that the coat would change after being spayed. Does ithis also apply to neutering?
Yes, neutering also eliminates the hormones that effect, among other things, the quality of the coat. However, there are plenty of individual differences in terms of the degree that the coat is affected.
I see you don’t trim there coats. I have a poodle and to me, hair-fur carries germs. The ears can be pulling the face down. I trim the length, also around her face and eyes, so they look and see better, feet, and butt too. This does stop the tangles and knots too. Just helping.🤔🥰
The Cavalier Breed Standard calls for no trimming whatsoever, and since we show our dogs, we follow the standard. If we trimmed our dogs' coats, they would never win at a dog show - and, more importantly, they would not be what people expect a Cavalier to be.
Ok my question for ATB is - What are your thoughts and hopes on the surgery performed for mitral valve disease reversal currently over in Japan? P.S- still catching up on vids.
Can Boo get in and out of her crate since it's on top of another? She's quite spry if she can! How is her vision? I thought I saw cataracts? My little guy who's blind in one eye has a congenital cataract (our vet found it when he was only 8 weeks old; his first wellness visit) and she immediately referred us to a veterinary ophthalmologist who discovered he also had a detached retina (thus the blindness). As a result of the detached retina, he's not a candidate for cataract surgery, so he gets drops in his eye twice daily. That's part of his normal daily grooming routine. All three of our guys get brushed daily, teeth brushed daily, and ears cleaned twice a week.
Boo still gets in and out of the top crate just fine - in fact, she prefers it to the bottom one. She is stone deaf, but her vision is fine, and she even responds to hand signals.
Seguro que tienes mucho trabajo Charlie pero estoy segura de que disfrutarás mucho y me ha encantado ver a la abuela Boo!!!!😘😘
Love seeing the Grady bunch. Our household misses having a cavalier
Lovely to see them all
Love the Grady bunch!! So comforting and fun to see all the gang together again! And yes, my Cavs also "hide" when the other is getting a bath!
So cute that Fin And Sherlock snuggle while Pauling tug a war with the squeaky toy❤🐶🐶😘🙏🏻
What a great looking "Bunch". So cute. Thanks.
It's always fun to see all these beautiful dogs together. They look like they are all so happy to be with each other.
How glorious to have a house full of Cavaliers. That’s a dream come true! Enjoy! 🐶 🐾 ♥️
Wow you have a house full for sure. Winston gives us the same look Boo had when you were bathing her. We call it the bug eye look. lol
Oh my goodness - all that cuteness 😍

What a fun time a your home! I wish I was there to hold a couple of the dogs on my lap. When Boo was younger, how many championships did she win?

Who was playing that squeaky toy at the background ? So funny.
Haven’t seen Jamba and Bella for a while.
The squeak toy noise was most likely caused by Sherlock and Finn, playing tug of war with a toy.

Where to submit an ask the breeder question? In the last ATB video comments?
Right here in the latest comments. Or you can email it to charlieweidig@gmail.com.
