    Hello ASL Heroes!!!
Hey, I could really use your help.
If you’ve enjoyed having access to an expert in ASL you can help me continue my work for you.
A small monthly donation from you would instantly make a big difference here at the studio because teachers don’t earn much and I could use some help paying for server and domain hosting for Lifeprint.com.
Right now you can help out a humble (not to mention kind, caring, generous, compassionate, helpful, friendly, fair, and hard-working) ASL teacher -- just go here and a few clicks later you too will be a true “ASL Hero!”

    Thanks!

p.s. Want to have your very own USB drive with four semesters worth of ASL instruction (that’s the equivalent of two years of colleges classes) for just $79.95? See "SuperUSB" in the ASLUniversity bookstore at:

Take care and love to you all.

That is impressive. I got 3 words into it and already forgot the sentence. Lol.
I love these lessons where we see similar-looking signs at once.

I have a question for ya!
Can you do a video on ASL signs for homographs? Spelled the same, sound different / different meaning
    1. conTEST vs CONtest
    2. comBAT vs COMbat
    3. ENtrance vs enTRANCE
    4. deSERT vs DEsert
    5. REfuse vs reFUSE
    6. CONtract vs conTRACT
    7. preSENT vs PRESent
    8. CONtent vs conTENT
    9. wound (injury wound) vs WOUND (wound up, riled up)
    10. perMITS vs PERmits
    11. conDUCT vs CONduct
    12. inSERT vs INsert
    13. proTEST vs protest

Wow... homographs are tough for us Deaf folks -- particularly the type you seem to be focusing on: "heterophones."
Heterophones are a subset of homographs that are spelled the same and have different meanings but are pronounced differently only in part of the word. Like your example "COMbat" (the noun) and "comBAT" (the verb) -- the overall pronunciation of the word remains somewhat similar, but the stress or emphasis on certain syllables changes.
In any case, I can most likely do a lesson on those types of words. I'll add it to my list of lessons to develop.
What is your interest in this topic or this type of word?
