5 Things Every Business Card Should Have

- Business cards are effective marketing tools. Today I will go over the 5 things every business card should have which can mean the difference between someone picking up the phone or throwing your card in the trash.
1.) Off white coloring.
2.) Tasteful thickness.
3.) Watermark.
The off-white coloring must be subtle.
1) Logo: 1/4 to 1/3 of business card space
2) Your Name
3) Contact Method: phone or email (both ideal)
4) Website Address
5) Physical Address: only if you have a professional brick and mortar location

Mine has My Initials, My Surname and My Post Office Box Address (excluding Postal Area Code and State).
I leave it up to them to Notate (or Remember) My Christian Name when I Present the Card to them and to Look Up My Full Postal Address, when they are Writing a Snail Mail Letter to Me.
I am not interested in making everything too easy for them and I don’t want them wasting My Time In contacting Me for less than Significant Reasons.
No One who ever Truly Needed My Services has had too much difficulty contacting Me.
