You forgot to mention that the Nintendo racing minigames are absolute trash because they don't tell you whether or not you've won a race or not, and it doesn't even matter because if you just stop and try to lose, the other character will stop too, so you CAN'T lose

It’s absolutely crazy to believe that Missing Coach: Pt 3 was a year ago. I have the TTTE SNES game and it’s pretty, well boring. I can beat it in under 30 minutes but it’s fun if your a young kid.

I have a theory for the sega genesis version of thomas the tank engine and friends edward was a playble character but the cartridge ran out of space so they removed edward all together.
Evidence:
1.james has edwards wheel base
2.the race mode has 5 races which one character is repeated twice.
Though there's not much evidence they probably realized that there's not enough space before making anything for edward.

Say what you will about the adventure series, but both versions for SNES and MegaDrive were the most well received on the consoles.

If I were made the new boss of Channel 4, I would not only have said major UK broadcaster re-enter the kids TV market, I would buy Thomas from Mattel! This would bring an end to AEG and I would nurse the Thomas franchise back to health!
As part of the new "Kidz 4" block that would air weekend afternoons on Channel 4 and weekday afternoons on E4 (moving temporarily to 4music during the Paralympics, Women's Euros etc), I would re-air the original 5 seasons of Thomas, using the original footage, even including the nameboards! (I know the master tapes have been partially damaged, causing more recent remasters to use blooper reel footage, so I'll transplant footage from foreign language masters if I have to! Then again, I hear the 2015 First Class Stories DVD features the non-remastered version of Escape!)
I would have the other parts of such a Thomas rebirth include:
- Adam Hills re-narrating The Great Discovery (replacing the boring Pierce Brosnan narration! Also, some of its HiT-era music would be replaced by classic series music!)
- The Ertl and Brio Thomas ranges relaunching (Tomy bought Ertl at one point, so I'd also have them start releasing their motorized Thomas toys outside Japan again!)
- all 24 Thomas seasons, and movies and specials, getting full DVD (re)releases, HD content also being released on Blu Ray!
- not too long after this rebirth begins, a whole new Thomas reboot series, being as faithful to the RWS and classic TV series as possible (female engines would have to be introduced sooner) entering production! Bluezoo (Digby Dragon, The Adventures of Paddington, It's Pony) would do the animation and Adam Hills would narrate!
I have watched a few episodes of All Engines Go. Even LEGENDS OF CHAMBERLAIN HEIGHTS isn't as bad!
