I know this is just a game but Nadeshot made me cry. It´s obvious he was really emotional and he looked like a kid on christmas. Even the Codcaster was trying not to cry and holding his tears. They deserved this for sure.

I stayed up here in the UK to watch this, seriously proud of tK here. Whilst they couldn't take this one home, they put up one hell of a fight, and that clutch by Neslo was so damn intense. Glad to be a tK fan.
I really wanted iJ to interview clay about him getting revenge etc. but overall i've never had more fun watching a tournament than solely this one. btw, did anyone else shed a tear after they won?
Proofy was a menace on the map back in the day. If I had to compare him to someone now I'd have to say Dashy. Just the flashy player that can pull almost anything off
Congrats to OpTic! I'm not trying to fanboy or anything but I feel as if something was off with EG. They played really bad even against the teams they won against. Remember how everyone kept saying that EG was ahead of people and how every member of EG kept saying they want to see some competition? Either they played bad or they got what they asked for. either way now that they didn't win this tournament, MLG Anaheim is going to be really interesting.
I for sure thought that optic would close it out on round 9, but when Neslo killed scump for the 1v2 clutch, my jaw dropped for about 6 seconds.

I have rewatched that last round and celebration atleast 4 or 5 times by now, almost brings a tear to my eye everytime. Spectiators just tuning in for the first time just wouldnt understand, this MEANS so much for the organization and fans.

Why the fuck does anyone care if competitive CoD is considered a "sport"? Why is it so important that it's officially a sport? It's just a label that doesn't actually mean anything if you attach it to comp. CoD. You think calling it a sport will make it seem more manly or something? It doesn't need that label to be awesome, so I don't get why people vehemently insist that it's a sport.
All I know is that competitive CoD is fun to play and fun to watch, and that's all I care about.

It's the other way. People get butthurt over it being labeled a sport because they think it shouldn't. And to be fair it's not a sport. It's an esport. Chess is considered a sport too. The mind is a muscle and CoD depends heavily on strategy and reaction. It deserves the title at least in part.
prototypep4 There are those butthurt people, but there are constantly guys that argue with them and say "oh well if chess is then CoD is" or bring up definitions. No one ever gets anywhere and it's pointless.
I was making the argument that it doesn't matter whether it is a sport or isn't, but I can see how it could be taken as a rant against those who think it is. I could've chosen my words more carefully, I suppose.
prototypep4 Also the fact that the dictionary definition of the word sport was made well before you could even play video games. Let alone play video games online and at LAN events. It's 2014. Times have changed. Society has changed. We're living in a world of technology now and back when the word sport was invented they didn't have the stuff we do today.
People just need to accept that as time changes, society changes as well. In South Korea Pro SC games are broadcasted on TV and the players are treated like NBA/NFL players are in the US.
I'm glad that eSports has been growing so rapidly and is seeming to grow more and more. 150million people watched this match live on stream. That's quite a big number, just under League of Legends types of live viewership which MOBAs are huge now and getting bigger as well. I love Basketball and Football(American) but I also love watching eSports. Don't know why people think it's a crime. And if they have a problem with it at X-Games they need to be talking to the people at X-Games. They are the ones that allowed it and supported it.
Long live eSports and ball based Sports as both are fun to watch.

I really like this optic squad... they are all equally insane and the chemistry is there...i mean if you watch them stream wagers or what have you they all get along and have a laugh... They all work well as a squad together and a seen here, they can bring home the gold medal
