Stayed here as a kid in my grandparents caravan from 1967-1977 also had our own van 1998-2001 have got some brilliant memories of this place.There was a bakery in the village with old style brick ovens,I can still smell the fresh bread and pies they used to sell :)
Our family have been visiting Saltfleet since 1952 when there were only a dozen caravans. Over the years its become more and more busy but its so tranquil its heaven to us. My father had his 21st birthday party in The Crown Pub back in 1957 and at closing time decided to cycle back home.............to Doncaster..The memories we have of Saltfleet will live for us forever.
used to come here when i was a kid....stayed at the sunny dale caravan park 3 year ago..had some good times there. spent a lot of time in the new in caravan park to when i was younger...good times thats all i can say
there are a lot of boats at haven saltfleet that have just been abandoned, the boat that was stick in the ground was there when i was a kid lol,, when i was younger i used to go crabbing there. ( its called the haven by the way the bits were the boats are)
Great video, as an exile Mancunian lived in Lincolnshire for ten years. some great Memories there great nights out in Mablethorpe,Louth, Cleethorpes,Skegness, Lincoln. The only place I didn't like in Lincolnshire and lived there for a while was Sleaford. What a shithole!!!

Awww lovely. I can remember the days when mum could take the Yorkshire pudding and Sunday roast to the bakery for cooking.
