Thanks for the insight into closing with the fabric inside the awning bar. I've been having the same issue with it being uneven folded up and hoping this fixes some of the troubles I've been having.
Yes. It also has an annex that you can purchase which keeps the ladder enclosed and it can be used as a changing room or place for a cot. It keeps it completely dark as well.
It helps. Used it last July and it was extremely humid with zero breeze and had set up after dark. Needed a fan to help cool down the inside (retained heat) which took a couple of hours. The next night I was set up in the daylight with a slight breeze which helped it cool off way faster. The light suppression is crazy and it really makes a difference keeping it dark and much cooler. Setting up well before climbing in the tent seems to help it breathe and allows all the trapped heat (vinyl cover) to dissipate faster. Thanks for the comment.
@@Wheel2LiveOffRoad Thanks for the response! That's helpful. I think I'm going to order one. I live in VA, so I'll have the heat and humidity but will invest in some fans to move air appropriately. Cheers
Thanks for making this video. I've been looking at these things for a couple years. Have not pulled the trigger for two reasons. [1] I'm 6'4" 250lbs and I just dont think any of the mattress' would accommodate a big guy. But this one looks like it may actually work. Your opinion of the mattress?? [2] Dust! and I mean DUST! I live in an area where our roads are dry and dusty and I wonder about dust penetration into the tent. All the hard shell tents are more $ than I want to spend, and the mattress' are a joke. Do you have any opinions on the mattress and dust issues. Thanks again
Yes compared to my previous soft shelled tent this one is way more comfortable. I’m 6’2” and tend to sleep on my side. Ample room and soft enough to get comfortable. Dust. I also live in an area with many dirt roads and haven’t found dust to be an issue to keep out. It really packs up welll and I’m sure it helps to keep dust and moisture at bay. I love it. Thank you for the questions hope my input helps.
@@Wheel2LiveOffRoad Hey thanks a ton for the info. I think I might actually give this 23Zero a whirl. Appreciate you taking the time to make the vid. Thanks again.
Hey man! The fold-out part that shelters the ladder/entry has two Velcro straps on the side to hold those bars down when you fold it up. If you need me to send pics, DM me in IG 👍🏼
I finally found those. After I had struggled with it for the 1st few times. Do you have any I idea what those little bungee cords are for. I can’t come up with a purpose for them. Thanks for reaching out with the suggestion.
Absolutely love ours. The mattress is much more comfortable than I expected. Plus we're able to sleep well past sunrise because of the LST.
Yes the LST is a game changer. Six months of ownership and still can’t get over how well it’s made. Thanks for the comment.

You are so welcome! It gets easier in time but occasionally it seems more difficult than it should be.
tbere is a flap to close tbe entrance when you sleep? To make it completely dark, and to prevent thieves to come in while you sleep, correct?

@@Wheel2LiveOffRoad thanks so mcuh
I appreciate the video. Havw you slept in the tent during warm summer months? Curious if the liner protects it from the sun
