- Today I want to repaint another Monster High Doll and I think I want to make a butterfly today! And it means that we will reroot doll hair, draw a new doll face, make a pair of butterfly wings and a rose flower dress.

Why not alternate between famous characters dolls and others out of your imagination. You make great dolls.
That would be amazing! One week something famous like characters or people and other week something completely original :3 I would like that a lot
How about a mix in one doll? Famous characters mixed with something from her imagination. I think that'd be really interesting. Maybe even a redesign challenge too!
@@mrivyhead7663 I agree. The stressful, RL dolls take time and almost superhuman effort. Alternating them with simpler or just out of the imagination figures would balance the efforts and the results would be most exciting to see.

I personally like your orginals more than the dolls based off celebrities.
Me too, I just don’t care for Jefry Star for example. Originals are always way better 🙌

I hear you, I don't care about celebrities at all, but she always puts so much effort into those dolls, I feel like she always goes the extra mile with them, picks complicated costumes and everything, and I really enjoy seeing her showing off her talent no matter who the subject is.

The flower dress looks like she hopped into a blue thistle flower! They have reverse petal growth like that. So pretty! ❤️

As a kid, I absolutely loved the "Tales of Pixie Hollow" books. This doll just managed to bring that magic back - I think she absolutely looks like she could belong in this universe!
Yooo that was one of my favorite book series!!! I recently bought the original Disney Fairies trilogy from Goodwill (the ones by Gail Carson Levine) because I had only read the first one. Even as an adult they’re so good and heartwarming, and don’t shy away from action. I love!

I liked that the dress was puffy like a flower. You’ve done lots of fitted clothes before.
I think a fruit inspired doll would be great. You could use vibrant colours , maybe acid citrus colours.
It’s a long shot but I would love you to do Sam, Dean and Castiel from the Supernatural series. Longest running US sci-fi series that ends this year. But you could make female versions, they all have distinctive good looks and outfits.

I love watching artists make something they’re passionate about. Personally, I’m more into self-imagined projects (wanna swap some of your Abbeys/Gigi for Frankie? I live in the Netherlands, not too far to send to you 😉) but I think you should follow your inspiration. If after a while you get tired of doing celebrities etc, you can go back to more freestyle projects...if you don’t have a lot of inspiration to do that, perhaps the celeb projects seem more interesting again.. go with the flow!
I agree with the others who have already commented. Keep changing it up! It's amazing to watch you create a real life person or character because your accuracy is spot on; your BTS dolls SLAYED. However, my favorites were actually your zodiac sign collection, seeing you take a concept and run with it. For instance, I'd love to see a dark sister (or brother!) to this butterfly, inspired by a moth. 🖤

You're an artist, so you have to make what your creativity tells you in the moment! If you feel like making something from your own imagination, do it! If you want to make a famous person, do it too!! Don't put limits to your art!!

Oh cool, the blue blushing really brings out the sculpting details on Gigi. It’s a shame the doll bodies are solid colours for budget reasons because I never realized that the sculpting was quite that detailed.
I love your butterfly. It's amazing when you just let your imagination go. My favourites are when you do ”engineering” and really shape and build to change your dolls. Stunning, thanks for yet another inspiring video.

Poppen, have you thought about making a spider? I would love to see you're take on one! Oooh, or if she was in armor! I think the design on this dolls surface would really lend to it so well! I have become obsessed with watching your doll remakes and normally have them on while I crochet my own dolls. Thank you for posting these, they are truly inspiring!
I really love this doll but I kind of hate the dress. It's just so bulky. I would have personally chosen to make her a flower skirt and then the waist and bust would have been made of a smaller leaf or stem appearing material.
I think it was an amazing creation and you definitely should make more from your imagination in the future. Thanks for doing such lovely videos!
I wouldn't say I hated the dress, but I do agree a bit more fit instead of the bubble shape might have been prettier. The most saving grace is that it looks spontaneous, like something she saw and impulsively grabbed thinking, "Not in the mood to fuss today, I'll just slip this on and let it go at that."
It's not my favourite dress. But it does look like an upside-down rose
I think the dress itself was beautiful, she did a great job at making it look like a real rose. I think it's the silhouette it casts that is awkward. If she would've tied it around the waist like a tutu or something, and maybe put some petals upside or something like you were saying over the breast, it would've looked a lot less bulbous. Maybe some vines wrapping up or something
I would have made the dress slightly different but keep the petals and turned them into the skirt part of the dress and made another set of petals as the top part of the dress.
Not to nitpick but please consider how harsh your words sound, I don’t think hate is an appropriate word as she worked hard to make something look good to her. Fan’s opinions are always great to hear but when they are that blunt it can hurt really bad. Just saying as an artist myself :)

Poppen I genuinely think this is your most beautiful doll yet! I personally prefer personal projects because they're a bit more surprising 💕 but you're so talentuous anyway, I'll watch anything you make 😍
I really like it when you make dolls based on your own artistic ideas, I think that's led to some of your best dolls. Like this one, the evil Ariel, and so many others! I know they take a lot more work, but I really love the ones with some kind of body modification as well. Whether that just be adding wings like here, or completely redoing joints and adding horns and tails and all sorts of complicated stuff.
I love everything you do, but the dolls from your imagination are my favourite.

I absolutely LOVE watching you stretch your creativity and seeing the process of you trying out new ideas! Celebrities are cool, but they aren’t always super unique as you’re only able to copy what they look like.
I know you’re pretty burnt out on making other character dolls but I think it would be so cool if you made a Corpse Bride and Victoria doll.
I absolutely love you spontaneous "sure let's just add these flowers here, because why not!?" projects. It's so fascinating to see you just be creative!

Maybe, instead of Padme, a series of historically accurate dolls from different asian cultures, from which the SW franchise straight up took the designs. The main outfit they choose for Padme is actually a beautiful traditional Hahl mongol attire

I love how when she removes the face paint and presses the Cotten pad on the eyes and BOOM the eye is transferred perfectly to the cotton it’s so satisfying
I skipped a bit because I‘m impatient... the dress is absolutely stunning!
i just put it on 1.5x lol
then i get to see it all, but also get to see the end faster, and then i'll turn it back to 1.0x when there's a part that's really mesmerizing 💕
Honestly... This is one of my favorite dolls from you! Recreations of historical figures and celebrities is all good, but I love your creativity!
You pay attention to the smallest of details and it shows in your dolls. You can tell that a lot of love and thought goes into them.
You should do this more often. I'd love it every week, but I would also be happy with once a month.

I think, the dress is too fluffy, just giving advice, how if it is be a skirt, and give green fitted top on her.. so that we can see the wings beautifully made..

I really liked the final result. The chosen doll, it is perfect to make an insect-like doll. The wings are beautiful, the hair... Although the suit seems a little weird to me (reminds me of a blue pinecone or something). Perhaps I would have liked more "light", with more movement...
As for your question, I like all the dolls you make. But it's true that you've been making famous or historical characters for a long time. Maybe you could alternate videos between famous and original characters.

She is soooooo beautiful! The sleeping eyes were gorgeous!
When I saw the dress, I was blown away by the skill in making the petals, but did think it was a bit pine-coney as well and it kind of hides the wings. All I could think would be to move that part down to her waist as a skirt, and perhaps a tight-fitting green top (like a stem), since the skirt does look like an upside down flower, and the leaves would become the sepals instead. Would also love to have seen some fine wire antennae as well. :-)

I love the historical repaints and the original ones. i am always so excited to see when you come out with one like Marie Antoinette or Elizabeth I but this flower butterfly girl was also just gorgeous!
This doll came out absolutely gorgeous! The choice to give her closed eyes also panned out really well :D Personally i love watching these kind of videos that aren’t based of celebrities or popular characters a little bit more but i honestly look forward to any doll makeover haha.

This doll reminds me of this book my Mom bough me! I think it's is just called Flower Fairies. They are antique illustrations of fairies that have butterfly wings and some wear flowers as clothes. I like random dolls. ( but I also prefer fantasy in general) It is nice to see a doll made with a type you don't normally use. But I will watch anything you make so . Please do what you like :3 that's what I like the most.

Hello, I think the doll came out great! I love the sleeping look, and I think that the iridescent paint was pretty and added to the look.
I do think the dress looks a bit too bulky though; maybe you could have used two of the bigger petals and formed a bustier type top, and had the rest of them at the waist?
Also, I really liked the segmented look of this doll. Maybe if you want to use her again, you could make a robot, dragon, or snake doll? Something that utilizes those details instead of something you have to sand/buff off.
Anyway, great work, I enjoy seeing what you make!
