      thank you for your question, i think you are referring to the Bromeliad? If you have having trouble with it, it may be because of watering (see video at about 4:08, to keep the cup of the plant filled with water and to water the soil well when the soil feels dry). Sometimes if you have the plant for a long time, and it is finished blooming, it creates a small new plant attached to its side, a "pup" and the main plant will die off, which can be removed and the small new "pup" can live on either repotted in the same pot or into a new pot. Hope this is helpful!

    Just make sure the wire is plastic coated for air plants are allergic to metals . I learn that the hard way! Lol

      muhammad khan you can get it at craft stores like michaels but you only have to watch out for copper. Other metal is ok to use with them

    Kindly show how you fix air plants by wires..if you tied or whirl around otherwise if we puncture them. I live in canada so no question to reach you.

      thanks for asking and sorry for the delay! the wire is punctured through the plant then whirled around a little, this will enable you to hang the plant better. thank you!

    How do you water the wreath?

    • @TagawaGardens
      @TagawaGardens  6 років тому

      Thanks for your question. To water the tillandsias that are attached to the grapevine wreath in the video, a mister bottle works well to mist the plant as well as the moss to which it is attached. If the tillandsia is attached by wire, it could be removed, soaked in water, drained, then reattached to the wreath. You may have to replace the wire over time as it may rust. A floral supply store will have the type of wire used in this video. Thank you!

    There is no plural for TILLANDIA because it is a latin word! We do not say TILLANDSIAS
