This is a combination of splatoon, mario galaxy, and pokemon mystery dungeon(you being isekai'd into another body) and it WORKS.
And Maybe a Hint of Okami
I feel like there is some pikmin in there aswell
Oh also some kirby star allies due to you having 3 ai teammate that you can ride and even revive when they are downed

it feels more like legend of zelda four swords to me, with the stacking and all. seems like a pretty good game!

The further into the video this gets the more I feel like the story was written by 50 year olds. Everything else looks great though.

Straight Up pisses me off how it's so obvious how to defeat the Final Boss in the fighter phase where you have to time the punches. IT STRAIGHT UP SHOWS YOU HOW YOU ATTACK IT!
It’s literally a rhythm game lol. Time the button hit to match the onscreen ring.
All in all, several bosses in the video seem to show the player struggling real bad for a significant chunk of the actual fight sequence. I wonder if the player went in completely blind and just didn’t play enough game types overall to recognize cues like “shoot the glowing spots” or “time your attacks properly with the onscreen prompt.”
The game overall seems pretty easy with multiplayer and if you know what you’re doing. Unfortunately, neither seems really true in this video. At best, I wonder if that might have been due to intentionally padding it so the video would be longer.
I actually fought that boss and holy crap I had to retry so many times because of my teammates dying left and right

@@TheSadster Well, the boss fight with the helicopter near the end of the game turns into one. You have to match your activation of the big buttons on your copter with the ring onscreen. Normally indicators like that ring are paired with musical instruments or dance inputs.
Guys, this game needs more recognition.

Considering you have to hit him in weak spots that look like bellybuttons and he wears a crown, it could be an intentional homage. (There’s also the fact that his battle style is influenced heavily by sumo wrestling- a sport where the contenders tend to have the same body type King Hippo does….)
