  • Need a leg workout to put on some serious MASS? Let's get after it!
    Sets/Reps:
    Split Squat - 4 Sets / 15 Reps Each
    Stiff Legs - 4 Sets / 30, 30, 20, 20
    Hip Thrusts - 4 Sets / 20
Front Squat SS Walking Lunges - 3 Sets / 15 Reps on Squat + 20 Steps per side
Today was about getting back to basics and doing all of the hardest exercises you can possible do. Some of the big take aways is that even if you don't have a ton of weight to use, you can still enhance any lift by slowing it down, holding the stretch and changing how you contract the muscle.
Let me know what video you want next and get growing!

I fucking love this dude...I've been working out for a couple years getting in shape, fasting, etc. Until I started watching him, I wasn't seeing the real GROWTH I wanted, i was getting some definition, now in just a couple months the results are undeniable, I've had comments made about how I've grown. If this is your first video of his, or early on, go back, watch as many as you can, of all the "Big Names" in workouts on UA-cam, it wasn't until this that I saw the kind of rapid change I was looking for. That being said I missed half the video and I"'m going back to watch.

100% TRUE. I'm getting big results as well on just focusing on going lighter, slower, and thinking about the lift and not just lifting the weight.

Your videos on muscle training have made the difference in that before I went to the gym to "workout". Now I go to the gym to work out with "purpose". Before I hit the gym to work a body part, I hit your vids and take a few of those movements to incorporate into the routine. Time under tension, squeezing the muscle and holding it a few seconds, positive/negative movement done slowly really make the weight feel heavier because the muscles are working all the time and not just on the "push or pull" alone. Thanks a lot Ryan.

Lifting heavy doesn't build muscle like lightweight, high rep high volume. It took me YEARS to figure that out. I have gotten the best results of my life focusing on mind muscle and the weight is irrelevant. If you are lifting intensely and not sitting around, challenging yourself with different set parameters, you will change. Period.

Hey Ryan, I love your videos on legs. I've actually been using them to rehab the atrophy in my right leg following several months of bedrest and a knee surgery. I was wondering if I could get your advice on how to train legs with limitations? For example, since I just had knee surgery, I literally can't bend my knee on a machine like a leg press or a leg extension with much more than 10lbs. Do you have any advice for someone looking to rebuild their quads, hamstrings and hip flexors but who is starting from ground zero? I just retaught myself to walk a few months ago.

Please bro, get qualified help/ checked out. I wish I had a degree so I could point you in the right direction but before a bunch of gym bro’s reply to you,
Get a qualified physio and personal trainer to do assessments on you and point you into the right direction. Once your in the clear, start looking at these videos.

Do you have any works tips for legs and back with a rupture l5 disk. Some things I can't do or if I try my back goes out and I'm shifted for 3 weeks. Keep up the good work.
