She’s so honest when it comes to her voice, nababasa din siguro niya ang mga worries ng mga fans. Kalma lang tayo. Tama siya nagkaka edad din po ang tao. Kaya hindi na fit sa kanya yung mga styles of singing niya noon.

Confirmed. Part of the reason kung bakit ibang iba na ang sound ng belting niya is because she changed her singing technique. She used to do a chest to head transition na effortless sa kanya dati but harder for her now na may edad na siya. She sometimes uses it (old habits die hard), but you can see her struggle. Hindi siya sanay na laging mixed which is less injury prone.
mali po kaung dalawa.. She used to sing in her chest register before and has poor transitioning to head.. Now she unlearned and relearned to use mixed voice para hindi maburden ang throat niya and that voice though not powerful pero supported parin.
@@1nuesca She already said na she used to do mixed voice when belting. Now she used a partly head dominant mixed voice rather than a chest dominant one.
@jocriss True. I am really irked when people say chest belts ang ginagamit ng singers. They would not last more than 5 years if chest belts sila. Ubos boses nila. Great singers uses mixed voice when belting. That is a proper way. Some uses chesty mix and some heady mix.

Songbird, chosera ka teh. Totoo yang Php1M per 3 songs mo po. Marami nang nagpapatotoo na kumukuha sayo haha. In fairness, baka kasama naman kasi sina Raul Mitra and the band sa bayad. Plus bawi dahil bow ang industriya sa sobrang generosity niya. There's a reason why lagi siyang special guest sa mga concert - because she does those for free. Sa movie niya with Piolo, she donated her whole talent fee sa staff and crew at nagpamigay pa ng truckloads of items. Nainspire sa kanya si Piolo. Sa mga teleserye at shows niya, madalas siyang nagpapamudmod at paraffle ng Macbook, iPad, LV and Chanel bags and shoes sa mga staff. Kaya mahal na mahal siya ng lahat nang nakatrabaho niya.

Well,the current Regine is technically better than young Regine.She opens her mouth in a perfect circular shape which creates an open throat that deactivates tension.She resonates on E5 because that is a supported.She is slowly improving her twang.Twang is friendly according to our vocal coach.It creates a powerful head voice and easily blends with chest voice.It also helps to have a relax,smooth and perfect transition.
The current Regine also chooses a proper vowels in high notes.Close vowels are risky therefore she creates an open vowels which are A,E,and O.Belting with too much closeness on vowel creates tightness on neck and tension occurs if someone does that.I think Regine became technically intelligent now.
There is no "technically better" Regine. As she said, her current technique is what fits her current vocal condition. Of course, her vocal technique during her prime for me is much superior because it creates powerful sound. Ngayon, she needs to tone down her belt because her body is not the same as it was before.

I don't remember any point in her career where she chose the wrong vowels. When singing Filipino ballads, naturallu she would opt for closed "ee" rather than sing "eh" which is often done in English songs. And the fact that she never had vocal nodules already proves that she's doing the right technique to maintain her vocal health for more than thirty 5 years.

Kapag mataas ang bayad or binayad sa kanya. Mas mataas din ang ibabayad nya sa BIR or mas mataas ang tax na ibabayad nya. Kasi pagtaas ng bayad sa isang artist pag taas din ng tax na kailangang ibayad. So assuming na 1 million ang bayad sa kanya. Mga 100k pataas ang ibabayad nyang tax. Hehe. Not an expert.
