There’s also a Korean version of this out there on UA-cam that you should look up. They apparently all throw their frying fat into the sewer. Truly spectacular and vile shit.
I’m in Australia and enjoy seeing the different set ups which we have. We have a ripper bloke who goes by Drain Cleaning Australia and his UA-cam is just like yours. Enjoyable. Have a beer and a pat in the back. Great job
You also have a channel called Drain Addict with Ollie. He uses both a double barrel, or triple barrel brass tip for chewing through roots OR corn- which ever strikes his fancy, lol.
As a woman married to a plumber who has a small plumbing business in NJ USA. I’m wondering why UA-cam decided to recommend this video to me. Wipes are definitely a problem here too, the hubby has mentioned it to me. Good for you guys, hope your channel makes a ton of money.
Loved this compilation Great to see Jem Andy and Joe. Miss the laughter between u all. Would like to see a compilation of Jem the root destroyer and Andys nightmare jobs as he’s had some real bad areas to work in etc. love ya all 🥰
6:00 Love it when straight after the poo you get tons of foam- obviously they kept pouring loads of cleaning product down the toilet in a vague attempt to shift the blockage.
I didn't think I'd like watching this kind of content, but blow me down immediately kinda hooked after clicking by mistake. The mammoth pile of plop that comes out, im now kinda addicted to watching. Good job guys it takes a brave man to do your job. Well done 👏

The covered accesss area where the sewer pipes come together at a single collection point and then drain into the main sewer are not common here in the USA. Seems like a bad spot that will always clog. Keeps you guys busy!!!! Also interesting the UK allows outdoor drains to drain into the main sewer! Here in the US, outdoor landscaping drains cannot drain into the sewer system and must be daylighted in a lower drainage area.
That one is actually badly designed, the flow in pipes more or less at 90 degrees. Basically all the house pipes go into one inspection and rodding point before into the public sewer. Now grey water (rain run off) has to be managed within the property boundaries in things like soak always. In my 1850s property all the pipes off one property go to a manhole point, and then it collects as it runs behind another 6 properties, accumulating at a lager group inspection rodding manhole before it all goes into the main sewer running underneath the middle of the street. The engineering in the 1800s was built to last that's for sure.
I mean their content has kinda fallen off some but when I click on a video that has 'best of' in it's title, I'm expecting to see repeat material. Kinda of the point for a 'best of' or highlight video.
I see 3 Amigos and immediately think about the AC/HVAC company here in San Antonio so imagine my surprise lol but I love this and I used to be an LCTV anyway so I makes it even better
In the countries of the former USSR this problem is almost unknown - sewers are always of large diameter and with a height difference. Outside buildings usually 400-1000mm diameter. Inside buildings - usually 100/120mm diameter Clogs are usually caused by partial destruction of pipes and soil ingress.
@@MomeGnome They does not look older than 50-70 years. I saw many videos and similar sewers made from modern materials usually in western countries (or colonies) You may be surprised, but 40 years ago, toilet paper was not widespread in the USSR. They used to wipe their ass with Pravda newspaper. And for a 110mm house sewer, that wasn't a problem. It was all about the slope of the pipes and the amount of water when flushing. In the USSR, there were large flush tanks, five liters or even more, not economical ones like now.
The drainage system in the U K is crazy. I don't recall ever seeing anything like these cleanouts here in the States. At least nowhere I've lived. The bathroom, kitchen amd whatever else goes straight to the main line in the street. I don't think theres anything like these pits that look like this where you can access them.
I can't help but think you guys could benefit from what septic companies in the states call a "crust buster", basically just a plaster mixer attached to a weed trimmer type engine. In your case, a hammer drill with a normal plaster mixer meant for buckets would be perfect to chop up all those janky drains.
Can you show the one when Joe was fairly new and he and Andy went to this house. The back garden needed cutting, there was a retaining wall and a path between it and the house. The pipes ran under the house for some reason. It was a 'wait for it, wait for it' then this huge log appears. It was one of your best!!

That second job / man hole had a very poor looking install. I also don't understand why the blockages look so dry some times? Then half the time you poke at it a bit and it starts moving. Why doesn't the liquid keep it wet and moving in them cases? The ones you really have to work at I can see / understand why they block.

Multiple clearing this video. All now flowing greatly. Those wipes are a growing problem. 😊
A proper clean up would have removed the wipes surely rather than let then pass down the system to block again

What country is this, with such small open sewers ? Usually the collector tube is much bigger, than the donator tubes coming in from the sides.
