Lia Kim Team obviously have the some of the strongest contestants since her team consists of many TOP 10 dancers. But I don't know what's wrong with their teamwork.. Everytime they performed they always someone who tried to stand out alone.... I actually have high expectation for this team since my most favorite dancer which is Kim Min Hyuk is in this team so I hope next battle they make a strong comeback. No more mistakes please😭😭😭 I don't want every single one of them to go home because everyone are so talented.. Even Yeri the b-girl is so good but up until now, she didn't show herself enough... Maybe Lia kept her as hidden card... Lia Kim, used their talent wisely before it's too late.. I know they could do better than this.. Lia Kim is the best dancer after all
Ikr if I would choose a mentor I would definitely go to Lia's team cause I know how great of a choreographer she is alongside with other 1 million studio crew. Even from the very beginning I'm also rooting for Yeri and Minhyuk. But you're right, instead of showing a full team performance, so far we've only seen/noticed few individual talents. The concept up until now still incorporates "team" building, soon each dancers will be competing individually to showcase their own dance genre just like in the evaluations. Minhyuk is a shy and awkward guy but he'll become a monster once on stage same goes to Yeri so I'm excited what will happen in the future 💕💕
I 100% support this!!! During the individual performances, Yeri and Minhyuk's performances stood out the most to me (to the point I watched their videos almost 10 times lol), but I feel like none of the performances (especially for YERI) really highlight their talent as they should. Last group dance, Minhyuk's part really stood out, which I felt like really carried Lia's Team (ofc the other dancers were good too). Yeri is VERY good. Her instagram is full of new and innovative b-girl dances, but she keeps doing the same moves in these group dances. There's a reason why the B-boy (who gets at least more individual time to shine) follows the b-girl and has immense respect for her. I think maybe in making the choreography Yeri and MInhyuk are just shy so they don't really voice to show their parts more. Idke
I think this concept/song is not the best. Next time I would like if Lia Kim's kids disagreed with her, if they think something could be better/different for their dances.
My Opinion, is that only her and Hoony embodied the K-wave concept for this battle, if both of them knew the judges would not include how the group incorporated the theme, they would have slayed it mind you. They should have said don't follow the concept coz it would be disregarded anyways. But Hoya's team did great! I love TGS
Actually, they did fit the concept. The "K-Wave" or Hallyu isn't entirely Korean. It comes out of South Korea, but it's really a hybridization of East meets West (old and new). Just listen to the majority of Kpop songs, there's little to no purely Korean elements. You got jazz, Hip Hop, British rock, Latino elements etc. They just fused and enhanced within Korea. It's taking something, enhancing it, fitting themselves into it and making it a "Spectacular show."
Actually kwave isnt only about music . Music is kpop , but kdrama , korean make up , kfood , etc are all including kwave . If the theme is kpop , i couldnt agree more that only Lia and Hoony team who following the theme .
Well everyone has their own perspective about what "k-wave" is. Dance is also part of art, and art doesnt always need to be explained or clearly to be shown. The art speaks for itself tbh. That means it has been created to the fullest. People can interpret it as they want. Other than that, if they really didnt follow the predefined theme, i think KBS and also other teams wont stay silent. All the teams want to win, so they'd definitely protest. I think KBS is also not that stupid to letting one team get off of track. Not everyone can clearly see the meaning of the performance, bcs it wasnt clearly shown. Seunghoon and lia kim team performance is clearly showed about Korea. But i see hoya team performance differently this time. Its more like they want to show us whats the meaning of "the greatest showman" and "this is me" rather than only show that the film is popular in Korea. You know whats the meaning of that film? Being different. You can be the greatest even if you're different. Isnt that what k-wave means? Unique and different from others but still one of the greatest. Have you ever seen a painting that has hidden meaning? Some paintings show the reverse meaning of what is seen. If you know what i mean.

@@ilapopo hoon didn't participate and the kids choreographed the dance by themselves. He just watched them perform. It would have been more unfair if their team got higher place.
I think justice has already been served tbh. Her team had the messiest choreo and performance out of everyone else's, regardless of the Kwave theme. I still enjoyed the performance tho.

He makes that much effort to fly to & fro in between his schedule in Japan just fr his Big Dipper. Dont just cancel out his efforts just because it was nt shwn in the broadcast.

Y'all I'm just gonna stop by to say Kim Yeri won a bronze medal in 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in Breaking. She's the first one ever in Breaking history who became a bronze medalist.
Talent-wise they amazingly talented individually, but their team-work is lacking. I don't know anything about dancing, but the performance seemed so messy and not united at all. They are all amazing dancers and I'm rooting for Minhyuk the most, but as a team they are not good enough and Seunghoon's Team should have been 4th place imo.
I think so! The only person I'm confident that is performing is dongyo (mainly b/c he's the only baldish person on the show). But during the preview I didn't see the Jisung or the other tall guy, so for sure Hoya's team had an ace change

Im sorry but i just cant stay quiet. Im not trying to start an argument but rather trying to make other people understand. People like you kept saying that the other teams did not follow the theme well in fact you people just dont dig deeper to understand the concept of kwave and how the teams interpreted it into their dance. Their dances are like paintings. It has deeper meanings if you just look into it closely and think of it outside the box. Team Lia and Sunghoon interpreted it literally that was why it didnt make that big impact to the judges and to the audience.

Hoonie did not even participate in the dance, so Justice was served. It will be more awkward and unfair if they got a higher rank.
